It appears that NCI has been or is being raided. It is unclear whether it is DEA or not. We have a staff member going to the site right now to confirm.

It appears that the DEA is scared of us because they've been conducting these raids so quickly - smash and grab jobs. They want to get out of there before we can mobilize and get supporters there because they feel ashamed when we're protesting.

Don just got to NCI and the raid is over. It was a DEA raid and one person likely was arrested (it's unclear if the person was detained or arrested).

My stomach tightens up every time I read these things. Sending out my best positive wishes to the co-ops that were raided and collecting all my most hateful and negative thoughts and sending them on to the DEA. Seems to be about all I can do at the moment.

These raids are bad news for all of us. The most upsetting is that they are trying to entrap the people who are going to get meds with guns drawn.
Why not just close the doors down. It just seems way to dangerous for everyone.

Add to the smash and grab done at HNC for the vending machine and yeah, I'd say that the DEA has decided to step up the pace of the attacks, and go quickly and as quietly as possible.

This is NOT good news at all. Though it could also mean that their funding is running low and they don't have enough agents to do a bigger raid. I certainly hope that's the case, but I doubt it.

We just heard about another raid. MMRC on Ventura and Van Nuys is being raided right now by the DEA. I don't have an address so if someone else does, please pass it on.

Is it confirmed to be these two? NCI and MMRC?

Would appreciate any updates.
