Rep Power: 9458 | A proposal I think may help the MMJ community. First let me thank you in advance for reading this. I have what I believe to be a possible solution that may help ease the busts on MMJ Dispensaries wether run by Co-ops or Collectives. Our opposition keeps citing the "Illegal Sale" of Marijuana as a prime motivating source. How about we remove that source? What I propose is a change in how Donations and the dispensing of Medical Marijuana occurs. The idea is simple and as far as I, as a layman, can see would seem to help us conform more tightly to the model of a not for profit entity wether Co-op or Collective. It would require more book keeping, but both models allow for both volunteers and employees to do this. Simply separate the donation of money from the transfer of the Medicine. Allow members and patients to make donations and in turn, recieve donation vouchers. This would be transacted separately and away from the dispensing of Medicine. No money changes hands for Medicine. Medicines are distributed in a fair manner based on a patients donation or participation in a Co-Op or Collective. All the Budtender/Volunteer need do is look in the database to see where a registered and verified patient's donation voucher level is at. The Voucher is proof of donation to the not for profit entity. No money changes hands at the time the patient recieves thier medicine so no "sale" is created. You don't pay sales tax on donations to a not for profit entity. You pay sales tax on sales. I am interested to see what people think of this idea. Especially those among us who are activist and community leaders. I know I'm new to the community but I feel strongly that this could help us in our fight to keep access safe & Patient rights as well as privacy intact. Regards, Col. Kif |

They play at one destination and receive tokens for their winnings. Then they take their winnings and walk a few blocks where they exchange their tokens for currency. Thus turns the whole game from illegal to legal or at least "semi-legal". It makes sense but I doubt people will adopt this method. |

This is not Japan and we are not playing video games. how about following the prop as written. All collectives offer clones to the patients and help with grow advise, then if they grow more than they need They return it to the collective to be released to the fellow collective members. repay the members for thier costs, etc. then when this does not provide enough meds for the whole collective you can at least say you tried. Then we need realistic legal quide lines to do what needs to be done. we need legal grower status. Straight up legal, Govt. approved grower status. With-out solid quide lines from the govt. this is not going to work. note to the Guv. PICK REALISTIC RULES FOR THIS AND WE WILL FOLLOW THEM! JUST F ING PICK ALREADY PEOPLES HEALTH AND FREEDOM ARE AT STAKE! I DO NOT WANT TO STAND IN FRONT OF A JUDGE FOR DOING SOMETHING THAT IS LEGAL BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE THE POLITICAL WILL TO DO THE RIGHT THING! MAKE REALISTIC, COMPASSIONATE, EASY TO UNDERSTAND, AND PATIENT FRIENDLY RULES! IF OBAMA WON BY A BIG MAJORITY i.e. 6 percent, THEN MEDICAL MARIJUANA WON BY A LANDSLIDE i.e. 16 percent. IT IS TIME TO MAKE THE DECISION, TIME TO MAKE THE RULES! HEY GOV. YOU AND I BOTH KNOW YOU WILL NOT BE RE-ELECTED FOR A 2ND TERM SO YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE! THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS NOT GOING TO ELECTED IN THE NEXT ELECTION. NO DISRESPECT, JUST THE TRUTH, AND WE BOTH KNOW IT. SO IT'S TIME TO TAKE ONE FOR THE TEAM!!!! GIVE US REALISTIC GUIDE LINES NOW!!! SOW THE CLONES OF FREEDOM! OVERCLONE THE GOVERMENT! FREE MARC! |
