KNX 1070 on your AM dial has been sending out reports all morning every half hour or so. Excellent, unbiased reporting with sound bites from patients.

NBC, ABC & CBS television stations also according to reports, though I didn't see those.

I am currently checking KCAL 9. I'll let you know iof there's any coverage.

That really does bug the shit out of me. I search all over the net for any coverage of the protest and all I can find is the latest news on Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie...WTF!!

The report I heard on KNX earlier today said about 150, but that was early. I suspect the numbers swelled.

My guess was about 150-200 vocal, and mobile, protesters. The very polite cops said we weren't allowed to stand and block the entrance, but could march back and forth. When councilman Zine spoke (very favorably and for several minutes), with the news camera rolling, everyone gathered in one spot to hear him speak. At that point I would say there were well over 100.

There was not much coverage because you where sitting at home instead if being downtown participating. I do not desire to come off angry but I gotta tell you all that the days of the dispensary are almost gone and it is because of so called "patients" and people that say they are down for the cause not standing up in the most improtant time of need. Through these eyes it is a very sad week in LA. 11 collectives raided,robbed,abused and pillaged at the hands of the Feds and patients just care about if there is news coverage, the price of an eigth at thier favorite collective that might not be there tomorrow. People that desire safe access should stop waiting for some one else to make it happen for them and get off their asses and do some thing about it for themselfs and others. Sad Sad situation. Do you really think the press was gonna stay their to watch 134 people make fools of themselfs? Thats not news.

I would say there were about 150-175 well behaved, orderly yet loud

Act like patients means to go ahead and be sick. I'm very glad that you are healthy enough to have made it. You did make it didn't you? Because we're (patients) tired after all the work we did to get it this far. We didn't realize that we were doing it so's insolent folks could chastise us and tell it wasn't enough.

Wow, the condescending attitude just keeps coming from those that didn't attend but love to criticize.. And from someone that didn't show even! Not the first post today dissing patients from the soa-p box in Springfield.

Hmm indeed.

My issue is you keep shooting at patients for not following your agenda.

Can you aim that in a more useful direction?
