Rep Power: 15 | Re: nees some advice Im like you, need a good indica to help w/ pain management. I use a good hybrid for daytime smoke, and rarely will I get a pure sativa. Well, i'd say look for some Grandaddy Purple or maybe some Romulan for indicas. Kush's are also really good. Anyways, definitely try out a vapor lounge around town and hit that volcano. The price for them is dropping as you can find em for 400 even around LA, I know it is steep, but if you really like vapo then i'd say its the way to go. Peace. |

Rep Power: 15 | Re: nees some advice It always depends on quality of growning, but here are a few of my favorites, and why I smoke them. Most of these are hybrids, but I will list their dominant traits. Romulan[Indica]: Excellent pain and anxiety med. I swear there is something unique and proprietary about the cannabinoids in Romulan, one day scientists will discover a powerful anti-depression biochemical! Chem Dog, OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Headband[Indica, hybrid, hybrid, hybrid]: I list all of these together because they are related. The important shared charactoristic to me is that each one of these is 50 percent Chem Dog, save the Chem Dog which is 100 percent itself. Chem Dog is one hell of a Kush. ELIMINATES my stomach pain, upper back pain, and a few others things that are painful. Chem Dog itself is so strong that it makes me lazy if I smoke it for too many days in a row, I prefer any of the hybrids here as they also have Sativas in them which make it not SO sleepy. This stuff is great for when I put my back out and I am in pain AND restless so I dont want to lie in bed and let my back heal itself, when you smoke this you tend to stay put. TrainWreck(Sativa): Sativas usually do not help me sleep as much as an Indica, but this one is the exception. I wake up each day at 5-7:30am with stomach pain. I want to go back to sleep because it wakes me up in the middle of my sleep, but who can sleep with insane stabbing pain in their stomach. I take a hit or two of this and I am brought down a notch, much more relaxed. It is a bit intense at first, but this pot really lasts a long time, hours. So I get back to sleep, and when I wake up I can tell it is still working, though my head feels clearer. I like this because it lasts a long time it makes it easier for me to leave my house for an extended period of time. Maui Wowi and Kali Mist(Sativas): To me these are not powerful, but they are useful. I use these for daytime smoking where I dont want to be out of it. Kali Mist is a bit stronger than Maui Wowie, I have never caught anything more than a buzz on the Maui, but to me that is vital at times. Both taste great, easy to consume. Other strains that work similar for me like what I list above: Indica Dominants: PK Ultra HIP Pure Kush Bubba Kush Peak 19 Crystal Queen Alaskan Thunderfuck Northern Lights #5 White Widow Sativa Dominants: AK-47 (there is a small amount of indica in this that really stands out, but I think it is a 75%/25% sativa dominant) Super Silver Haze (so much like Trainwreck) TrainWreck Haze (also like pure trainwreck) Hawaiian Snow Cat Piss I'm sure I don't have 100% of my genetics info correct[maybe, who can be sure], aside from what I know works for me, and what I am drawn to. I like vaping, I have tried it a few times. Some vaporizers SUCK though, so watch out. I have head good things about the Volcano, I'd recomend trying a few out before buying one, thats what I am trying to do. |

| Re: nees some advice Well it looks as though the capt has summed it up nicely. As to the vaporizer if you are looking to try one first, I would go with THC in Studio City, they have a lounge with a vapor, I am not going to lie, the last time I was there it did not have all the pieces, or you could venture to CPG in Santa Monica or Whittier Collective, both these places I know have a volcano for patients to use. |
