| Isolation Tanks OK, I was just commenting on another thread about the movie Altered States which if you haven't seen it, you really should. It's about a Harvard professor who experiments with drugs in isolation tanks, specifically esoteric forms of peyote. Now, while I don't necessarily want to turn into a wolfman, or have my arm fuse to the top of my head, I've kind of been interested in isolation tanks ever since I saw that movie originally in the early 80's. Now, I've never been in one, but I figure SOMEONE on WT has...and I thought, why not ask. So, has anyone had any isolation tank experiences good or bad? And does anyone know where in the L.A. Area I might try one? |
