Rep Power: 190831       | im so pissed off at itunes i hate apple and itunes. i tried to download some tunes and the files were corrupted on apples end, it wouldnt let me download them, it kept giving me errors. then you know what happened, itunes lost my whole library, then you know what happened, all my prefrences for all my applications suddenly disappreared. i have no bookmarks, no email settings, nothing. im sooooo pissed off right now its not even funny. |

| Re: im so pissed off at itunes Well, your library should still be there. I would restart iTunes and reimport all your files. You may need to reboot as well. Also, Apple will give you a one-time reset of all your purchased music if necessary. Were you downloading from the iTunes Store or elsewhere? |

Rep Power: 190831 | Re: im so pissed off at itunes itunes store. they should compensate me for the 5 or 6 hours its going to take me to reset all my applications prefrences as well. the bookmarks and ftp passwords that were lost are far more valuable than the music. it wiped out all my saved email as well. im so pissed off right now.. | Re: im so pissed off at itunes once I lost my whole iTunes library on the computer hard drive, but was able to use iPod Rip to restore it back from my iPod. I hadn't synched it for a while so i did lose a little but it was mostly fine. I for one am sick of Macs and how everyone say they're so much better! The ugly truth is All computers are capable of sucking. Apple fucks up too. BACKING UP regularly is the only prevention it took me a while and a lot of lost data to get that through my head. |
