| How many Veterans do we have on WT I have sat and listened to all the voices on here talk about peace and Unity, from how we should withdraw from Iraq, to how we should be helping set up their puppet goverment. Shame we have had so many wars in the past generation I forgot the longest and most costly in Human lives. My Apology to any and all Veterans for this Mistake I actually thought I entered it.. The Golden Triangle. Land where dreams are born. Have you been back? We went 8 yrs ago for a month of R&R. Beautiful country, shame you had to experience under fire. Were you attached to Special Forces? My Brother was a River Rat PBR Driver on the Mekong. He died a few years afterwords. Agent Orange gave him Leukemia.  | |

I was a simple Air Force mechanic, worked out of NKP Thailand in support of operations there, Phan Rang and Phu Cat in VN, as an "advisor" teaching acft maintenance.... Went for enough check rides to know I really didnt want to fly over the trail anymore..... ahh, to be ten feet tall and bulletproof again...... |

I was in Qatar for 4 1/2 months.. Loved it after I got over the fact that little old men going to market were carrying UZI's and AK's.. That made dating a local girl Hazardous..Really don't want Gramps to catch you stealing a Peek under her Veil..hehehe | |
