I was on my way to RCC to pick up some meds that day, but when I pulled in the parking lot and saw the line out the door I quickly turned around and left. It was a complete embarrassment to the MMJ community. There were people standing around laughing at the people in the line waiting. The Sparkletts guys was getting a good laugh out of it as well in the parking lot. The other businesses must have loved having hundreds of stoners standing outside like this. Does Dan still run RCC? What a F'in joke!

This could have been done in a better way for sure.
But since I am on Welfare and have M.S.,Cancer ,and have not worked in quite awhile, all I can do is be thankful to get some free meds.
Not only free, but good quality as well.
I start to see the comments above and I am very surprised.
These people stood in line for 2 hours to get free Meds. Some had kids, some stopped by before work, some in wheelchairs,ect.
Who are anyone here to judge who need Medical Marijuana.
After 30 years of Martial Arts training I do not LOOK like a typical M.S. sufferer.
But compared to 5 years ago, I cannot describe or put into words the suffering this disease brings me everyday. But on a GOOD day I look like anybody else.
I chose not to get on camera, but anyone with the balls to have their face on the news is FREE to do so in my book.
Ever hear Marc Emery Speak? Sometimes sounds like a broken record, and is always hitting on the ladies. But he gets the message out.
Ever hear Jack Herer speak? Even before his stroke he was just a Plain guy, trying to get the message out.
This movement needs to be about regular people.

Marijuana/Hemp is so important in so many way's that it has to be legal so every Adult who wants to use it responsibly, has safe access to it.
I learned a long time ago to try not to judge people by Looks or Talk.

If we need PRETTY PEOPLE and MODELS to be our spokes people we are in trouble.

Hope you feeling well today Sharki Nothing wrong with what you are saying, but speaking on camera for a whole movement is a big responsibility and I personally attend training courses that TEACH us how to properly speak to media...it is important when you represent so many and a whole movement to say the right things the right away...with great power comes great responsibility (I know I'm quoting Spiderman's uncle, but I like the line). We don't need "pretty people" but rather prepared, informed speakers that are pretty on the inside and can represent you and me and our community!

I was not aware that the editor of Kush L.A. was elected "the Speaker for the movement".
But I DID SEE HE WAS AT LEAST TRYING HELP.
Not many people do that in "our movement". I don't think this helped business for the place. Weed Tracker people go where the best Meds at the best price are period.
The media will portray this any way they want. Spin it any way they want.
If more co-ops actually did help the Poor and sick of their community, instead of charging sick people 45-75 an eighth, then maybe they would be earning the name Compassion Club.
I have seen people like me, sick poor, go without eating to get medicine. I have been to 60 70 clubs and not 1 has offered me squat help. I have offered to sweep floors , watch doors, trim buds at these places. And have been told to my face THEY HIRE YOUNG GOOD LOOKING GIRLS ONLY?
I judge by action.
As far as the movement goes, Jack Herer has alway's made most sense to me.
Tho I do like Marc Emery as well.

Now they are mostly tittie bars that sell weed to working class men.

The cost of MMJ to grow is cheeeeep. It should be less then 100.00 per oz.,retail
And everyone could still make MONEY.

Well I'm not sure what reality you live in esp @ less than 100 an oz retail to produce medication? Maybe an outdoor crop otherwise your seriously deluded or your accustomed to smoking swag because I know what it costs to produce quality and unless your producing a LARGE amount it's gonna be about double that or more. What the heck are you talking about "making money". Your not allowed to MAKE MONEY, your allowed to make reasonable compensation for your time and operating expenses. Your talking out your A$#!

R.C.C. did a lot of that and I guess that's why they and their posts are gone!

Indoor? After cost of equipment, the process is very cheap. If you think that even indoor Bud cost no more then a couple hundred bucks per pound your crazy.
I got a guy who can produce 3lbs per 1000 watts indoor.
Outdoor? I am looking at a outdoor crop right now that will produce many pounds of great Meds. Cost about 200.00 to set up.
Even when you add in the cost of labor and production, it is still cheap to produce.
It's Vendors charging 5000.00 a pound and Clubs selling it for 65.00 an 1/8 that are out to make MONEY. Not donations. There's the Farce. Charging ill people that price is a crime against humanity....
Ask Marc Emery or Eddy Lepp how much in Donations they have received from these Clubs. A 10 billion a year industry, and that money surly is not going back to the community.
These Compassion clubs are turning into weed bars.
People say that what RCC did was to bring bad press, and fear that the government will close them all down. Hah.
Once the government tastes the revenue they will not give it up so easily.
Cannabis has been used by humanity for thousands of years, and illegal for 70. People will find a way to get it no matter what the government does.
They say the Pot today is so much better. I was getting better bud in JR. High then I get now at these Clubs. And it was 10-20 an ounce then.
So keep on paying these prices. Keep on feeding people the Bullshit on how HARD it is to grow good Meds.There is a sucker born every min.
So bring on the press. I want FULL legalization, not some BS MMJ LAWS that 90% of the people take advantage of anyway, to make money....

That is why everyone and their brother is moving out to take advantage of the California Green Rush.
Even with labor, equipment, Seed, You will never exceed 500.00 per lb.
And I think even that is HIGH.
Hell you can buy a lb of rolling tobacco (without all the crappy additives)for 10.00. But still morons pay 5.00 per pack which is under an oz of tobacco and heavily polluted.
