Rep Power: 4382      | Excuse me while I vent my speen! Apologies, but I hafta rage: Tomorrow's my 43 birthday. I had my yearly physical today; Blood taken, prostate poked. Big fun. So, in light of this trauma, I drove to Van Nuys from mid-city to pick up meds at my backup place now that NNCC is gone. Everything worked out fine, got some excellent looking LA Conf and got on my motorcycle to ride home. While stopped at a light, some douche rides up beside me and comments "nice shoes." Before I can reply, the light turns green and he takes off as do I. As anyone who rides a bike knows, you don't "take" someone else's spot at a light. So, as the light turned, I took off after him. It was right about then, I felt something hit my lower right leg. Figuring it was road debris, I didn't think much of it and continued to navigate traffic. When I got off the 101 at Cahuenga though, guess what? My freaking prescription bag was gone. GONE. As in flew out of my pocket while driving. I blame that douche who invaded my space and thought he was funny making a comment about my shoes. Well, guess what assface, you made me lose meds that I can't really afford. since you like my shoes so much, I'd be happy to shove one up your ass for getting me all riled up which caused me to lose them. Happy Birthday to me. |

I just took a small nap and feel a little less irritated. :) Luckily, I should be getting the ol' parent's birthday card today, so I should be able to re-up again tomorrow courtesy of the folks 50 they always slip me. Now there is hanging onto a hope, eh? I'll be sure to post whether tomorrow goes better than today. If it doesn't you will notice a burning supernova in mid city devouring everything in it's path... Thanks again for the sympathy and kind words. I don't think anyone other than fellow WT'ers can understand my loss and agitation. Peace! |

Maybe I'll get lucky and when re-tracing my ride home tomorrow will see a nice little white bag lying in the median. YEAH RIGHT!!!!!! :( Hopefully with all the good feelings projected towards me today, things will get right tomorrow. I know this will all seem funny months from now, but today? Not so much. Actually, I am lying. About 20 years ago, I was riding my bicycle with a young lady who I worked with. We were passing a joint between us while we rode and I dropped it. I stopped, and looked everywhere for it. It dissappeared. I am still sore about losing that joint! this is going to be with me a long time, yikes! |
