I live in sonoma and ya'all know what its like up here, right up against the emerald triangle, freaking copters all the time CONSTANTLY ALL DAY LONG and it's even worse in the fall. This is a suburban and semi rural area, not LA! But they got those copters flying all the time like it is some kind of war zone. Just a bunch of peaceful hippies up here, BTW. Of course, that's what they are making a war zone out of, the peaceful hippies growing their recreational buds, or in the case of the DEA, recreational or medical. I get so damn tired of it. At least 4-5 hours a day or more of constant copter noise and its annoying as fuck.

We got to end this stupid stupid drug war.

This drug war is causing chaos. Farmers in Norcal protecting crops with assault rifles, cross-border trafficking is out of control, the very people that enforce the war on cannabis are just told what to do by people like Harry J. Anslinger (May 20, 1892 – November 14, 1975). People like Harry are the lunatics that came up with the prohibition in the first place.

This war costs billions, while fueling illegal trade and violence. Imagine if cannabis was tolerated and regulated like alcohol. Would there still be people in the hills paying immigrants to grow immense outdoor gardens protecting it with assault rifles? Would there still be a need to smuggle cannabis accross the Canadian or Mexican border on a large scale?

The only downfall I see, is the drug kingpins in Mexico and other countries would have to shift to producing more dangerous drugs, like methamphetamine or others to counteract the loss of profit from the marijuana since it would be grown in the United States. This is a bad side effect, but at least marijuana isn't to blame for the mess the smugglers create. But actually, in afterthought, this probably wouldn't happen because there has to be a demand for there to be a supply, so hopefully American's will still choose not to use dangerous drugs, choose to fight the war against Meth and cocaine and prescription drugs instead of waging a war on a pretty green plant with big leaves and sparkling buds.

PatientX said it right the first time, end the drug war, or at least the cannabis war-- It causes more than it cures.

I must quote the Bible, God said it himself for those who believe, if you don't that's fine, but at least somewhere this is documented in history:Genesis 1:11 "Then God said, Let the land burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant. The seeds will then produce the kinds of plants and trees from which they came." And so it was, the land was filled with seed bearing plants and trees, and their seeds produced plants and trees of like kind.

This is a cheesy version, I read one version that said all the seed bearing plants are for you to eat and to use. These plants were placed here specifically for us people, don't try to outlaw what God or whoever you think created this green matter.

The man who authored and is the father of the Harrison Act, the act that started the drug war, William Jennings Bryant was a fundamentalist (no offense to our christians here on the forum) who picked and choose from the bible, ignoring the parts about the green plants, of course! Jesus drank wine too, but that didnt matter when they also outlawed alcohol a decade or so after the Harrison act.

If prohibition didn't work then, then why should it work now?

alright fellas, I'm an atheist and I don't like the vibe here towards christians right now. I disagree with what christians believe in as far as a god and a bible, but if christians are on the side of medical cannabis then i don't care what they believe in the rest of the time. why do we need to bash them here when they are here to support medical cannabis? I like hearing stories about Jesus and cannabis anyhow, they are inspiring to me, even as an atheist.

And who the hell said I was a Christian in the first place? Just because I quote a verse out of the Bible automatically turns you into a Christian? You can talk the talk, but to be a Christian you also have to walk the walk. How can you see me walkin' if you're online?

Make peace, grow cannabis, and work together to create one army against cannabis prohibition, whether you're from Babylon, heaven, hell, or the Hindu Kush Mountain range- just grow cannabis and be merry. Go yell at Christians while they're at church, they get a kick out of that, not online where they can't see your face.
