A girl in the valley today told me the Long Beach Compassionate Caergivers also owns a club in Orange County, the Desert and Inglewood or something. Then she told me they also just bought Bliss Candies as well. Just wondering if anyone can confirm if this is true. If it is true how come their prices aren't lower like Wal-Mart or something.:D Just a thought. Hope they do better than the old Bliss crap and cook with more butter and less tincture. Will they be the only ones carrying it? Who knows.

Rep Power: 793 | Re: 4 Clubs and a Candy Company??? You will probably never see Walmart prices in the MMJ world for a ton of reasons. Until there are more growers than buyers, the financial side of MMJ won't be favorable for the tactics that allow Walmart to operate the way it does (and I pray it never arrives, Walmart is the fucking devil). You need to have an extremely saturated environment, a buyers market if you will, before any one club could control supply to that extent. Right now, it's pretty much completely up to the clubs to regulate their prices. Clubs are profitable at very low price points, and at very high price points. This can be attributed to the fact that there simply aren't enough dispensories to supply all of the patients yet and to the infancy of the MMJ movement. Once the market begins to saturate, you should see prices fall as clubs have to compete for the existing pool of patients. Also, regulation can and will affect pricing...I am personally most interested in this aspect of the game. If I had the resources and the huge balls of steel it takes to run a coop, I would be like a kid in a candy store...the profits are just insane if you do it right. Hopefully one day I can add the HopeNet to my stock porfolio ; ) I can see it now: MMJIPO |

Re: 4 Clubs and a Candy Company??? Jus kidding about Wal-Mart but with four shops they should have some sort of purchasing power right? And if they own Bliss will they cut the price on them in their clubs? They would if they were compassionate.

Re: 4 Clubs and a Candy Company??? Five candybars for 2.50...Where...I am in. What delivery service did you used to run. Someone at Bliss would give you candy bars for .50 cents a piece. Wow...does that mean clubs are marking them up by that much? I hate Bliss products but for 50 cents it may be worth the bad taste and minimal buzz because I could eat 20 of them for what these clubs charge. Anyway, just seems like we, the patients, are being molested by big conglomerates like this. If I owned a club and a candy company I would sell candy bars for wholesale costs to the patients and draw in more customers that way. Might have to give Bliss away...I wonder if they will change the labels due to the Beyond Bomb bust. Reefers peanut butter does not seem so funny anymore.

Re: 4 Clubs and a Candy Company??? This is the second post of mine moved and I was wondering how does one decide where apost should go? Who decides where a post could go. The last post was about the edible raid in Oakland but it was about a company that was more prevelant in SoCAl than NorCal, yet the post was moved to NORCAL COOP section. It was not a coop or just for Nor CAl patients, so I was wondering who decided where stuff went and why?

Re: 4 Clubs and a Candy Company??? Well a good piece of Godiva chocolate can cost up to 5 bucks, but Bliss is far from a Godiva chocolate covered apricot or something. With medicine i can see ten bucks, but the quality has to be there. I love chocolate with herb when done right though. Nothing more delightful. Cookies and stuff get stale in a couple days but chocolate has a much better shelf life. Now I am hungry. Got a chocolate truffle with my name on it. Later.
