Hi Everybody,

I know you love your picture threads, but they kill the server loading all those post with all those pics being stored in the database is just killing the site when it gets busy. So I would like to suggest that you take advantage of the new dedicated photo gallery with comments enabled for discussion if you want to post lots of photos.

Posting pics in threads is fine, just dont over do it. A few pics are fine, but it becomes a possible problem when they start to get big. The 500+ reply threads where every reply is a quote with a pic or a new post with a pic, those are the threads that kill the site when it gets busy.

So, heres how you can help. When you quote somebody, delete the pictures, that will make a huge difference. And if you have a lot of pictures that you want to share, its better to post them in the new dedicated photo gallery with comments enabled for discussion, than to post them in a thread in the forum. A better thing would be to link to your gallery from a thread in the forum.
