Rep Power: 5388 | I have a vaporbrothers vaporizer, and HELL YES you can vape concentrates! I crank mine up to the highest setting and pack a 1/4g of hash. Serious bong style rips for many hits. Kief too! I have never vaped moon rocks or fm hash though. Not sure about those. Don't mix hash and flowers in the vaporizer though because flowers will be done before the hash, and burn. |

Rep Power: 2580 | Re: Vaporizing concentrates Attempting to use an electronic vaporizer to medicate with concentrates usually results in failure whether its one thing or another, jammed screens and dripping goo don't do electronics any good. The best way to consume concentrates is by using a "Vapor Swing" or "Skillet" device, which ultimately results in the concentrates being vaporized and used to their full potential. skillet-vapor-curve-45-angle The link above is just one random place I found when I typed "skillet" and "vapor" into google but it gives you a good idea of what the device im recommending looks like. Alot of local places sell these "Skillet" devices though, I know SCpot in Studio City has a great design which I saw today but couldn't afford to pick up, and Kind Meds in Tarzana also sells them. Just be sure to get one with a concave titanium plate so your meds don't fall of the sides. And you're going to want a very low volume bong, I'd recommend a wicked sands mini-tube(best concentrate piece i've personally owned) If you actually get this type of setup I guarantee you will have unlimited success vaporizing and medicating with concentrates. Skillets are one of the most overlooked yet most effective medicating devices available. Good luck PM if you have any questions |

Just FYI also, a "skillet" setup will only cost you approximately $150 (for concentrate-specific water pipe & skillet) or $60(skillet alone) | |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Vaporizing concentrates My Vapolution is glass whip that slips into glass test tube, no filters, just gravity. I found that pressed hash (Kief) worked good when mixed with a very small amount of flowers. Your right about the flowers reaching doneness first, only slightly since it was kief style. I have not tried the dark hash yet or wax, oils. I would think the oils would work because excess sometimes drips down and vapes away so they should work. The skillet idea sounds good, worth looking into. |
