Rep Power: 5692 | The two ways cannabis extracts are made is with an ice water method or solvent extraction. Ice water only collects the resins. Solvent extracts will ALWAYS have a residue of the solvent ( It is proven by math and physics). There is a site with evidence that a total extract of cannabis cures cancer. See it here: http://phoenixtears.ca Supercritical Liquid Extraction is a way to extract resins and oils from Cannabis and other organic material. Safer that normal temperature and pressure solvent extraction. It is used to extract many substances from plant materials. It is costly to setup as it involves high pressure fittings, heat exchangers, and sophisticated sensors and controls.. When I can safely invest in such equipment, I will do so and process cannabis into hemp oil. This is reported to be a cancer cure. About 2 ounces can be extracted from a pound of dry buds. This is enough to cure most cancers when given in rice size portions 4 times per day. This is a very important substance and I bet my friend would have beaten the second cancer. Normal tinctures helped him fight and beat the pancriatic cancer. The second cancer killed him. Current methods of are inefficent and may leave dangerious chemical residue. I believe such reidues are harmful to health. Here is how SCL extraction works - Google "Supercritical Liquid Extraction" or see here: http://tigger.uic.edu/~mansoori/SCF....TRL.at.UIC.pdf clinton |

Rep Power: 59 | Re: Supercritical Liquid Extraction Are you sure about the cheimical residue? And are you sure the quantity of the residue is enough to be harmful? One more thing, do you know if any of these substances can be neutralized when the oil is smoked, or combusted, by the heat of the flame? |

Rep Power: 83616 | Re: Supercritical Liquid Extraction Wow...didnt think we could post about this stuff here.. anyway.... THC Chemistry Is It Legal? The delta-1 and delta-1(6) THC's with the n-pentyl in the 5' position (obtained by using olivetol in the syntheses) are naturally occurring and hence illegal, but the delta-3 THC's and the numerous isomers, homologs and analogs of the delta-1 and delta-1(6) compounds are probably legal. Apparently, recent federal legislation outlaws delta-1, delta-1(6), delta-3,4-THC's, both cis and trans and D and L and compounds. This still leaves hundreds of legal cannabinoids. Now...wheres big pharma..hmmm |

| Re: Supercritical Liquid Extraction big pharma is out raping the landscape, pushing their drugs. my family member takes $1900 of their meds each month to help him get his mind right but it doesn't work. pills to cope, to sleep, to wake up, etc etc. They make money from his pain and don't help they hurt. Patients dying with morphine drips sometimes get the option to have mild ganja cookies, or other edibiles. Some of mine have, since passed away, peacefully. peace out from a pow |

Rep Power: 5262 | Re: Supercritical Liquid Extraction To hear that your friend beat pancreatic cancer is amazing. If you don't mind me asking, where was the secondary cancer located? I've lost a family member to pancreatic cancer, and as I understand it, once it is diagnosed, it's basicallly a death sentence. My family member died within 4 months of diagnosis, in great pain. Oxycontin was prescribed, she took it once and had such a bad experience, she never took it again. We offered to get her marijuana to ease her pain and stimulate her appetite, but being almost in her 70's she was from the mindset that if she had one joint in the home that the DEA would raid her and send her to jail. It was heartbreaking to watch her suffer. |
