Rep Power: 11974 | Payless!! http://hempnotes.com/payless-using-hemp-for-shoes/ I bought a pair of thong sandals there a week ago just because they were made of hemp..When Marijuana was made illegal they said Hemp was marijuana. If they are considered the same thing then why can they sell this product and not be raided by the DEA? If they can sell this Fiber then why can t we grow fields of commercial Hemp? Know my understanding of the two Plants is one has a higher content of thc in it, Doesn't all strains of Cannabis Hemp have a slight amount of Thc? Just wondering.. http://www.aae.wisc.edu/pubs/sps/pdf/stpap443.pdf Here is another link to a study done at the University of Wisconsin on Industrial Hemp.. http://www.ukcia.org/research/Busine...GoodHabits.htm Some useful info on why we should be fighting for this great alternative to fucked up fossil fuels!!! |

It's also one of the most nutritious foods around...unfortunately since it's illegal to grow, 100% of all hemp sold in the u.s. is imported I recommend to anyone and everyone to read The Emperor wears no clothes by Jack Herer. The secret history of hemp is an amazing one  |

Rep Power: 87047 | Re: Payless!! Only Sativa (left) is suited for industrial hemp, but it also has medicinal varieties. Furthermore, hemp can be used to replace many potentially harmful products, such as tree paper (the processing of which uses bleaches and other toxic chemicals, and contributes to deforestation), cosmetics, and plastics, most of which are petroleum-based and do not decompose easily. Just wondering.. http://www.aae.wisc.edu/pubs/sps/pdf/stpap443.pdf Strains of Cannabis approved for industrial hemp production produce only minute amounts of this psychoactive drug, not enough for any physical or psychological effects. Typically, Hemp contains below 0.3% THC, while Cannabis grown for marijuana can contain anywhere from 6 or 7 % to 20% or even more. |
