FF has some really good extensions and they have some that really bad ones that slow your system down.

I am simply not as "adventuresome" as I used to be...

I would LOVE to hear about ANY extensions to FF that you have found to be both useful and NON resource hogs.....

In other words, this tired lazy SOB would LOVE to benefit from your experience!

ctr-tab dose is an extension that is cool, lets you see all of your tab windows in a box like the new feature on vista

I know it doesn't do anything productive - in fact it is pretty much a total time waster... but i love the Stumble On extension. Takes ya to random websites... lots of fun when you are bored silly!

I believe you meant Alt+Tab...but yes that is a cool feature.

i heard they're gonna repackage all copies of Vista in boxes that say Windows XP SE (Special Edition). they have to get people to buy it SOMEHOW...

Snap! I am a total FF nerd and love extensions. These are must haves IMO

All-in-one Gestures, if you are lazy and work at a fast pace.
Autofill Forms, if you fill out form often.
Cooliris, I agree with zbestwun2001 this is packed full of win.
Pic Lens if you work with graphic design or need to browse through pics quickly.
Foxmarks, bookmarks sync, if you use multiple computers a great way to keep bm
Greasemonkey, if you trust third party script you can do almost anything
KnowMore, let's you know about the impact of the web site you are using.*****
NoScript, blocks harmful and malicious scripts.
PDF Download, View PDFs rather then download
Quitomozilla, If you are quitting smoking
Split Browser, Uber nerdy but super cool.
TrackMeNot. Protects against data profiling
WOT, web of trust.

even I don't understand Gort's system. I'm just using a plain, old G4 Mac. and it has what is commonly called an "ergonomic" keyboard made by Logitech. same keys as a PC, just kinda split so your hands are in a more natural position. they just made a couple of the PC keys double duty as Mac specific keys. other than that, same as your keyboard.

Gort doesn't have any fingers so you should SEE his keyboard.

FoxLingo is a cool extension which allows you to translate webpage and text between many languages, for people who need the service it's very useful.
you can grab it from foxlingo.com or from the mozilla addons site.

TabMixPlus & ForecastFox are also a cool extensions :)

and of course AdBlock.

i like the search engine plugins. its so convient to select from the pulldown what site you want to search. the amazon and youtube ones are especially helpful.

ye the search plugins are great, search directly in ebay or imdb or discogs etc etc :sbounce:

and if you don't like the fact google logs all your searches you can always search through scroogle :)

When adding these extensions just becareful not to get carried away.

These extensions can slow the performance down.

Personally I onlly use... All In One Mouse Gestures, CoolIris, PicLens, WOT (it's a security app), Fast Dial, and BBcodeXtra.

I found a really nice add-on yesterday for FF.

It is called "Read it Later"

If you come upon a page, it is easy to set that page to be read later.

This is really handy especially if you have a short attention span and surf the net a lot.
