Hello all Firefox users that have greatly disappointed by the latest screwed up, slow, annoying, release from Mozilla.

I come bearing good news.

Firefox 3.0.1 is out, and it rocks.

It's fast again like the earlier FF releases and if you have been disappointed as I have for the last year or more in FF this will change your attitude and FF 3.0 is more secure. Download 3.0 today.

Firefox 3 is great. I've had nothing but a good experience with it so far.

Yes! And the add-ons are priceless!

In fact, I've been told that some Internet sites actually have annoying, flashing ads. But I've never seen any because I added Adblock Plus to my Firefox.

I'm so happy. : )

i didnt like it at first. but now that im used to it, its freaking great. im still kind of annoyed with the way it handles the history and bookmarks when you type a url, but i think eventually ill get used to it.

I didn't like that at first, but now I think that's one of the best new features.

OK - gonna try it! Been running 2.0.0.7 for a while and loving it, but does seem slow sometimes - I would blame that on my router and reboot - maybe the Firefox browser version shared some of the blame - will find out soon.

Have been using Firefox for over 4 yrs. and have always like it and no problems other than a couple of games that won't load with it. Have always like it better than any of the other browsers. Formerly I was Mac and then 5 or 6 yrs. ago switched to pc. Have been using Mozilla Firefox ever since and keep downloading new updates as they come along. Had more problems with my mini mac which I sold and went back to pc. Have not ever had problems with it on a pc. That's my 2 cents and that's all I have guys. sooooo:partysmile:

Besides my security applications these 3 add ons for FF are excellent.

PicLens--- for viewing .jpg's or YouTube videos.. creates a whole new experience for seeing your pictures.

Googlepedia--if there is a Wikipedia page for what you are looking for on Google it is displayed on the right side of the search results. EXCELLENT TOOL.

Sitehound- Security app. will alert you if you are going to a URL that is possibly malicious. This is a must have.

i agree, the new ff is wonderfully great!

the last version i had would have random crashes often.

This is like the first version just much more secure.

The last version almost made me change to Opera.

I can't wait for the Mouse Gesture add-on to be available, I NEED IT !!

I prefer Opera personally. Firefox is alright but the all the plugins are annoying... last time I used it, some of the plugin's didn't work with the upgraded browser. Lame.

The plug-ins will come.

They need to be designed by the users that what makes FF different.
It's an open source program.

...don't get me wrong, I love Opera also but I like the mouse gestures that FF has

About the ONLY thing I don't like about 3 isn't really Mozilla's fault.... There isn't a realplayer browser download plugin apparantly available yet.

I'm enjoying 3.0.1 Firefox, with my only niggle being I think they have made bookmarks organization less intuitive.

...I don't think you realize just how big of a memory leak 2.0 had. Check your task manager and look at how much memory it is eating up. While, 3.0 is using about the same amount as any of the other browsers.

Oh, I was well aware of the memory leak in 2.0! I caught on early to that by checking Task Manager, and when Firefox got too big I would close the session and start over. Sometimes it became a runaway process and I had to kill it through the Task Manager. So glad to know that is fixed in 3.0.

There are options you can do to minimize the memory consumption of 2.0. All that is taken care of and 3.0 has this very ugly way of navigating to pages. Well to each his own, at least we all love Firefox :D
