reputation is getting kind of out of hand. inflation has made it impossible for new users to get boxes and its also made the users who have been here a long time overly powerful when it comes to giving points.

so here i was i am purposing, there are several options:

1) reset reputation to 0 for everybody starting on a yet to be determined date and start from scratch where everybody is equal.

2) adjust for inflation and change the values of the boxes and the leaves.

3) leave it alone and when you max out on rep, that it, thats all you get..

I think it would be interesting+fun to start over and see what happens, but I know that a lot of people are strongly attached to their leaves+rep power...

Being an original member and all.......HONESTLY???? the REPUTATION is the person not a number lol,,,,,,,so im with MrT....reset it for EVERYONE(ESPECIALLY RIXXY LOL REP WHORE LOL JK JK) and see where we go from there....nobodys gonna die without there rep lol

i say keep on pumping the system. i looks great, bear paw or leaf it builds character and i gives the notiable members credit for where they stand and hopw long they have been patients. i think maybe a new color system or even an elite class once you max out if thats possible

I wonder what the site Internet speed would be if it just wasn't even an option?

ditch the rep points

Wasnt there a change to the rep points around a year ago that made things get out of hand?

Back when I first got on here and probably for a year afterwards and barely anyone had super high rep except for maybe one or two(someone with a prism avatar) people but now its just out of hand.

Also anyone who knows who I am talking about with the prizm please feel free to chime in, it's on the tip of my tongue and it really starting to frusturate me.

If there wasn't any rep points, reputation would be based upon our ACTUAL reputation.

Cool will people will still be cool, and dirtbags will still be dirtbags! :slaugh:

Personally....while I like having the rep points, I think that the value & content of a persons posts, are far more important than how much rep they have.

I dont rely on a posters rep, I prefer to read the validity of the actual post.

I then determine, wether or not I respect their post accordingly.

I am CRYING over the thought of losing reputation, i mean i don't know about anyone else but i LIVE for Rep points, my whole existance is dependant upon my ability to both send and recieve said points otherwise known to me as *Life Force* is a power that should NOT be played with, i for one take this VERY seriously, okay i gotta go "Johnny Quest" is back on .......
