Well, at first, when WT changed the site a week ago, I didn't like the way the club directory was set up, as you had to go thru all of the clubs to get to the one you wanted (i.e. WestSide),but now it's back like it was which makes finding a particular club eazier! Thanks. =Judy=

The site has very useful information, but the layout is awful it is hard to find anything and having the top of the page advertisement load on every single page is really obnoxious.

I understand lots of people hate our site because it's too hard to navigate. I'd like to point out a few things-

One, we're not myspace, we're not facebook, we're none of that. We're a forum discussion board. We're also one of the largest MMJ forums on the net- we have over 400 Co-Op forums, not including all of our patient forums. That's a lot of content. More content can make navigating more time consuming but we'd rather have more info than not enough. IMHO, people that have problems navigating this website haven't ever been exposed to a forum board. Expecting us to have a myspace format doesn't only do us a disservice but you as well. I only say this myspace thing because it's one of the common things that people complain about ("why don't you have a bulletin board so I can talk to my friends?!!")

Second, navigating our layout can be easier if you can remember these 2 main tools:

Navigating the website is done through two main mechanisms:


Navigating the Forums

The various forums are listed in green tabs, under the flashing banners- "Patient Information" - "Northern California" - "Southern California" - "Delivery services" - "Other MMJ States", etc. Our Patient Information tab is considered our social area where we have general forums such as Maladies and Remedies, MMJ Activism, MMJ News, etc. This is also where the "Deals Offered by Co-Ops" forum is located.

Navigation Bar

The navigation bar is used to access various sections of the site. It is located above the banners, to the left of the "Welcome ___" box and below the banners, above the forums. The navigation bar allows you to access parts of the site such as the forum rules, your photo menu gallery, the search engine, your User Control Panel, and much more. It is highly suggested that you familiarize yourself with this.

Also...

Please note the 'breadcrumb' feature that is located beneath the navigation bar. The breadcrumb allows you to easily identify which subforum and forum you are currently browsing in. Selecting one of the links is a quick and efficient way to return to the previously viewed sections.

What? It's not hard to navigate at all. In fact, I think it's organized quite nicely. (No, I'm not kissing up.) This is actually one of the least glitchy forums I post on. Others aren't so smooth or easy on the eyes. I like the colors too. They're soft, appropriate and not overdone.

I still wish you guys would change the "marijuana" to "cannabis" though...
