Hello and good mornin everyone,
I have been a member of this forum for a bit over a month now. I enjoy reading what everyone has to say and the great information that comes from this site.
I am more of a lurker because it seems all the questions I have, are already posed here with answers from the community.
For that I am grateful.
However, being a lurker,

I don't say a whole lot. I am mostly here for information.
So...
As I was trying to post a comment, befriend even, or simply send a private message to a dispensary I am interested in knowing more about,
I was declined time and time again in trying to contact the people since I was told I hadn't posted 25 times in this forum yet. :susel:
I guess my question is this..
I don't have a whole lot to say as it's already been said a billion times here.

Is it necessary for me to post 25 more times, even though I have made posts in the past and have been a member for a short while at the very least?
I feel as though I am being forced to communicate although I don't have much to say. I am sooo more of the information seekin sorta gal.

So, if I must post 25 replies/threads/what have you, will I be able to contact people? How long of a timeframe will this take?
Do I have to wait AGAIN for some timeframe of when I WILL be allowed to contact dispensaries?

*sigh*

You see the 25 posts requirement. It seems to suck, but it is a good thing in keeping the site free of spammers. This is a big site with lots of registrations every day - many duplicate IP addresses. This would turn into a chaotic mess were it not for the limit.

I run my own site and have to do similar things.

Keep responding as you see fit and soon you will have the required post count.

Hi Lily and Welcome to WT

If your going to want to contact anyone with a private message like a dispensary you are going to have to have at least 25 posts to do so. As for having 25 posts you could do that today its very easy, just post where ever something catches your eye. You will be amazed at all the new friends you meet on here. the WT community is one big happy family:sbounce: im lookin forward to seeing more posts from you.... Hi! I'm sorry you are feeling frustrated. It won't take long to acquire the needed 25 posts. Please know that new intro posts do not count... The 25 posts is something that all of us went through. We look forward to getting to know you.

you can also send messages to people (or co-ops) by visiting their profile page and leaving a message......just click on someones screen name and view profile......good luck....happy tracking

I believe another reason for the post count - WT wants a community - we need to interact on-screen, an be ourselves -then all will get to know, then like, then love YOU. So by being honestly yourself and open, the membership will embrace you in good times and bad. I see that here at WT - so Kudos to the Admin and Moderators. You do a good job at keeping the spam as low as it is.

My purpose here is to speak truth and uplift those who need a friend. I will help your post count go up fast by reponding to your posts. I feel your good energy.

This is very true. And to reiterate, the post count rule is designed to reduce spam, multiple accounts committing more violations, and reduce illegal sales. 25 may seem high but if you look around there are many threads that you can post in that do not require lengthy responses. But also be aware that bumping your post count to solely gain privileges is against the rules. We consider bumping to mean flooding the forums or posting none sense/one word replies. Hope that clarifies it :)

I think I'm probably anti-social as a product of my environment, haha. Like I suppose most of us can or would be when we're extremely busy, or what not..

Ya know... I felt the same way when I first got here.. kick back and lurk, feel the place out. I gotta tell you. This is a GREAT group of people who'll welcome you with open arms. Trust me. You'll find people you click with and be typin' away before ya know it.

There is a trick to getting comfortable in front of a group. You look at them and imagine that they are naked. Imagine that all of WT sits here typing naked. Many are - so please turn off your live feeds of video people.

What is in your heart is what to talk about. Looking at the world and laughing or crying about what I see, gives me plenty to say.

If you want to contact a club just go to the co-op resoures click the club in the area you want, and give them a call. WT is an area where you can discuss medical issuses,look for clubs, about your situation, or just to get an update.
