At the top of the page is a link bar (Account | Community | etc...) that is duplicated further down on the page, right under the breadcrumbs. This duplicate bar doesn't have the functionality of the top bar and just takes up screen realestate. Can this be removed? I dable in PHP and would be willing to look at the code to get rid of this second bar.

Whether purposeful or not, it does provide a positive user-experience by allowing you to use those links easily after loading a page, or later after you are reading a page without the need to scroll back up and passed all the banners.

On my browser (admittedly old IE 6) the second set of links do nothing.

We added the second navigation bar due to user requests after the spring's upgrade. As with all suggestions and requests, I'm sure mr. tracker will look into it and see what's best for the community/site. There are other upgrades coming shortly that may or may not impact the bar. We shall see.

I tested the links on my IE. Works for me (spare the blogs, but that's disabled anyhow). Time to update your browser?

Maybe. Thanks for looking into it. I prefer old technology. When I was doing web development I ran multiple versions of IE on the same computer. I still support many users running IE 6, but it may be time to switch WT over to FireFox.

^ Totally understand. I <3 ff and would hate to switch to something else. We all have our favs :)
