The shoutbox was the best. The only problem was that it was on every page. I think you should bring it back just on forumhome. If I wanted to use a chat system I would go to the IRC.

what's wrong with using the current new styled chat box system? i think its better than the old except for the fact that hardly anyone is on it.

who cares, the majority of people liked it. WT got a lot more boring without it. The new chat system is horrible. No one is ever one. Shoutbox was perfect. Great location on the main page. BRING BACK THE SHOUTBOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be an ass but sorry wt got so "boring" for you,I personally have found it to be much more enjoyable all the moderators and administrators are doing a great job on getting rid of the garbage and getting back to whats important to the patients.

people complained about you left and right until you and i came to an agreement that you would act civilized. and you have.

and WT is much better without it.
now we're back to posts instead of convo's.
ya, you can share real time information with poeple, but sharing information in a post is better. now everyone can learn.

Please make that "in YOUR opinion" WT is better, and posts are better than conversation. And how can you describe posts as "real-time"? Real-time by definition is shoutbox or chat room.

You aren't fooling me, lots of posts are extremely useful when selling advertising.

Hoarding info is the job for BOOKS, read one lately?

I have discovered new shoutbox used worldwide by MMJ patients, different location, I've been very careful not to EVER mention where (what) this is on WT so I will not be banned. After recent events, I think just by mentioning one exists...

Wow, you guys are a little weird. Pat, you sound kinda paranoid friend, I think you may be mis-interpreting what GD said. I'm pretty sure that nobody is going to hate you for partaking in a chat room somewhere about MMJ, it's cool man share your knowledge, I am sure you could get a few people to come talk with you.

If you need to chat so bad, pick up a phone, or use an IM program. Shoutbox isn't here anymore, big deal. It was a problem now it's been solved....get over it and move on. Make some posts, contribute to the movement, do something other than bitch about the shoutbox.
