Pain Wakes You Up

Hey Patients. I was wondering about this. I often don't sleep not because I'm not tired, but my IBS wakes me up...then I have to get up and medicate...
then as the cramps go away, attempt to get back to sleep; which doesn't always work. This can inevitably repeat in a rather disruptive cycle, especially if I use the wrong strain for some reason. Anybody have some management ideas?

Have you tried the medical milk/tea before bed? It should work for 4-6 hours.

The mmj tea really works. i sleep better when i drink it about an hour before bed. It really works!!! And thanks to dismalqueen i am a tea drinker before bed. bp

I too suffer with IBS. In fact I am only up now due to stomach pains caused by my IBS. The way I deal with my IBS pains through the night is to smoke a bowl of a strong Indica topped with a strong Indica hash. I smoke this bowl right before I go to bed. I usually finish the bowl only 15-30 minutes before I fall asleep. Also, if I have them, I like to have an edible before bed. It helps keep the body calm, relaxed and medicated through the night. I never sleep better than when I have had an edible before bed.

The problem with being a cannasseur is that there are too many strains and never enough time!!

Thanks everyone for your advise so far, it means alot.
I'm up right now because of cramps too!
I can't do the tea in suggested form cause of my diet (i.e. no dairy) Is it as effective with soy milk?

This should be an IBS thread, cuz here Iam with the same damn cramps. Can't go back to sleep, they are to hard. Well, if Iam up guess this is the next place to be! Hope everyone is cramp free soon!!!

Yes, I drink the soy version for the same reason and it's good
