I was wondering if anyone knew what sativas or strains are in Green Crack? It is by far one of the most unique smelling and tasting herbs that I've tried, real tasty. I often wondered how such horticultural excellence is purveyed.

Green Crack, also known as Cush, is a very potent strain of cannabis with notable taste and smell. It was created in 1989 in Pincher Creek, AB by a man named Cory Fouillard. One of the shortest flowering production clones it finishes in 43 days . It is a clone only. Potent aroma air scrubbers must be used in residential production. Green crack was referred to and thus made popular by many rap artists, including Kottonmouth Kings, Kingspade, The Game, Snoop Dogg, and Young Jeezy.

-Lineage (if known): SSSC Skunk #1 (Afghani, Acapulco Gold, Mexican Gold) x Local Sweet Leaf Afghani

-Vegative Growth: very branchy and very fast. Likes to grow and reacts well to fertilizers.

-Flower Time: 42-49 days

-Yield: average.

Skunk #1 is; Afghani (indica), Acapulco Gold (sativa), Mexican Gold (sativa)

Local Sweet Leaf Afghani is pure indica

So, Green Crack is an indica dominant cross. Probably...65/35.

did you take that info from wikipedia? i swear i've read half of that stuff before. I am super surprised to learn that it's a indica dominenet, as it neither has the effects of an indica nor does it grow like one.

The Green Crack I smoked at a few places is exactly as wiki describes it. It is a heavily skunked base with beautiful amber gold, amber green, amber orange, and amber red resin glands and hairs.

I'm not super surprised that you are super surprised to learn it's indica dominant. If I smoke a few bongs during the day, it makes me drowsy and calm and hungry. If I smoke a fatty during the day, it will sedate me or make me dysfunctional, at the very list, the emphatic sign of an indica.

Go get your green crack and I'll get my green crack, and will see who's crack is true green crack.

About a month ago I went to a co-op in the valley and got a gram of Green Crack and Mowie Wowie, both were excellent A+ grade. I remember the GC being stronger and more disabling than the MW -- and not nearly as green. Not a very good name for the stain IMO.

I love the GC, I haven't seen it down by me in years but what a great strain, problem is sometime when they come up with new genetics they forget about the old favorites, I miss seeing, green hornet, pine tar (oh my god will pay anything to get a little of that one) even good choc. thai and jack herer are are hard to come by anymore...note to all growers, some of the older genetics still have patients that like it and would like to get it w/o driving two hours.

I'm very surprised to hear that it has any indica effects. I know it says 42-49 days, but if allowed to get to the age of 60 days- 65 days watchout! Head racy as hell! I had this tweaker guy just about tap out and quit smoking weed altogether. Later that night he woke up from deep sleep and had a panic attack and swore he couldn't breath.

And I thought things were supposed to get more sedative the longer you let them go. Maybe its just GC.
