| Re: Green Crack The GC is a new strain to me, never seen it before getting my cert a few months ago. I have found it is by far the best daytime med for me. It elevates my mood to exactly where it should be, and leaves me with a clear head. Doesn't make me hungry or tired, and a few hits lasts me a few hours. I stocked up on GC a couple weeks ago, as a Co-Op I frequent had an incredible sale on it ($280 oz). Before I got my cert, I would easily go through an 1/8+ a day. Now that I have access to meds that suit my needs, instead of just 1 or 2 strains of misc lineage, I rarely smoke more than a gram or 2. Some GC during the day, with some various OG's have made the last few months the best months I've had in 5 years! Send me a PM, and I'll be happy to point you to a club that always has GC (multiple kinds), and usually has some kind of special on it :) |

It had the exact effect you describe, Spaceman--an extraordinarily Sativa-esque feel. (Unfortunately, because I was in dire need of an Indica at that time, I absolutely hated it.) I'm glad it works for you, however!

Green Crack Lineage: SSSC Skunk #1 (Afghani, Acapulco Gold, Mexican Gold) x Local Sweet Leaf Afghani Skunk #1 is; Afghani (indica), Acapulco Gold (sativa), Mexican Gold (sativa) Local Sweet Leaf Afghani is pure indica The very noticeable sativa effects are what make this hybrid so interesting. Not only do you get the benefit of the soaring effects from it's sativa genetics, you also get outstanding body analgesia when grown to maturity. It's not surprising that GC and OG Kush are perhaps the two most popular mmj strains. Though very different in taste and smell, they are both very tasty and effective hybrids that exhibit both sativa and indica effects.

If someone had sold me the GC as an Indica I would have been very disappointed also, but as iconoclast mentions in his post you do get an outstanding body analgesic effect. It just has such a mental lift to it that even though it helped my pain the "headiness" of it was what struck me. Seeing that there is quite a bit of sativa in it's genetics and the psychological factor of being told it was a sativa of course I might not think of the body effects as being influenced by indica genetics. So that being said - it works for me when I am looking for a sativa strain. I still like "purer" indicas more for later in the day and at night. I just can't get any work done when i use them so there is always a place for a nice Sativa. Or, apparently a nice Indica/Sativa Hybrid. Quote:

Rep Power: 68 | Re: Green Crack I really like the GC I've tried, but I've had 4 different kinds from 4 different dispensaries. I still don't have a sense of what it's supposed to taste and look like. Some places I've seen it green and airy oval nugs, other places I've seen it as dense hairy round nugs. |
