I am here at my wonderful place of work, wandering around on this weedietrackie thingy and wondering if anyone could tell me about any really amazing/life-changing things that happened to you while medicating. (ie: out of body experiences, mind/body separation, visions, enlightenment, meditation, eveything!) Any and all stories are welcome! When I first started smoking marijuana in six grade and I was a light weight I was smoking some potent I think it was columbian red hair and it felt like my eyes rolled back into my head and I totaly triped out. I saw like a red hair lady laughing in my hallucination in my head. I was like oh shit and my friend said calm down and think Disneyland. I guess you could call that a spiritual experience. |

Spiritual experiences may occur with any substance, or even lack of substance, but the powers of Cannabis are not to be underestimated. |

I have the opposite story: I went back to school to get my 4 yr. degree (and ultimately my doctoral degree) by a good old fashioned WAKE N' BAKE!!! Most of the people I know who sit around and do nothing have never even tried pot. For example, I medicate every night and my G.P.A. is a 3.94. I'm going to graduate at the end of the Fall with highest honors (Summa Cum-Laude.) Yet most of my non-smoking peers, who laugh at me in class and think I'm a crazy hippie drug addict, pull C's and will barely graduate period. Oh, sweet irony. :ohmy: |

Rep Power: 78 | Re: Spiritual Experiences with MMJ? anyone... I just switched from smoking to edibles a month ago and I've been enjoying the more psychoactive properties. I've found small doses conducive to meditating on a regular basis. A couple of weeks ago I was able to get to a very deep meditative state that lasted a good 6 hours after the meds should have worn off. I have been trying to go in and out of this state with and without MMJ everyday since and I've been happy with the results. Westerners who have been studying the meditative traditions of the east for 20-40 years are now coming out with very skilled and refined techniques for accessing some of the more helpful states of consciousness. Check out the Big Mind process. There is also a 4.3gb MEDITATION_DVD floating around out there(inside try the meditations on the 4th cd of the 1-2-3 of God). I also like the Integral Life Practice kit. Feel free to PM me if some of this speaks to you. |

Yesterday I noticed one of the vines on one of my climbing vines plant looked like it had been cut or something and it was really struggling. When looking closer, I found that when I had moved it the other day, I had crimped one of the vines and this area was not getting any nutrients. So I moved the crimped vine and took special care that the entire plant was all okay. When I entered the room about an hour later, the vine was all perky and looked brand new. When I looked closer, I could see a droplet on one of the leaves. And I shed a droplet of a tear of gratitude as well.  It felt spiritual to me, enhanced I'm sure by the Diablo that I was medicating with. Corny to some, but to me, it was really a spiritual experience. Never had that interaction with a leaf before. I will always remember it. And there have been many more occasions. Mainly because with cannabis, I become a Human Being more than a Human Doing. |
