I read this in another thread and I hope I do not get in trouble for placing it in this thread, But many patients and co-ops / dispensaries are not able to post in that thread. So here is a thread we can all post for Jack Herer and his family. So please fell free to post a prayer or message for Jack!! May you have a complete and speedy recovery my heart goes out to you and your family!!

I am not sure how many of you are aware of what happened to Jack Herer last week. But as he was leaving LA is took a nasty fall. He broke one of his ribs, and is was sent to the Bakerfield Hospital where he was pumped up with HUGE amounts of morphine. He was released a little later that day, and drove back to Clear Lake. Everything seemed fine however a few days passed and his levels got really low. He was taken back to a hospital closer to home in San Francisco, he was supposed to be released later that day but the doctor's feel that his levels are too low and he must be monitored. we are unsure how long he will be in the hospital, but hopefully he will be out in the next couple of days. Please say your prayers, each and everyone is needed! Thank you.

I called Jeannie yesterday.. she is stressed.
Jack should be OK, broken rib, low red cell count (anemic)also.

I would imagine he is out in a day or so, but he will hurt from the rib.

When I was a kid I lived in the same apartment complex as Jack, I had no idea who he was until a few years later I picked up my first issue of HT's. The work he has done for MMJ, is remarkable. GET WELL SOON JACK! we need you back, more then any of us know.

He or his wife posted somewhere that they're looking to move into a place that doesn't have an upstairs (bedrooms/baths), now as it's very hard for him to go up stairs due to his conditions. Thought you all should know. =Judy=

I love Jack and I hope he is doing well.

The first time I met Jack (1995), he took me and my girl out for pizza and fetticine alfredo. With a warning not to tell Jeannie! We talked to 6am.... He never met me before. Just a real down to earth guy.
