Well, the decision was made, papers signed, and Dad was placed into hospice care today.
The doctors don't believe he'll make it much beyond the weekend. He has been sick for quite a while now, and we are all quite preparred and have come to terms with everything.

I don't need prayers for myself or my family, as we'll pick up the pieces, move forward in our lives (as Dad would have wished), and we'll all be fine.

I ask for your prayers, for Dad to pass comfortably, and arrive safely on his journey to reunite with Mom.

You are all my extended family, and I thank you all for being there.

Hey Kushmeister my prayers for your dad's peace. This is a most difficult time emotionally for you and your family. My wife recently lost her mom under similar circumstances so I understand. Prayers for a peaceful and glorious passing for your dad.

I'm not a religous man, but my thoughts circle around this often for my mother has MS and one day may be in this position. With not being religious I will say that I will have your family in my thoughts with me today and I wish your father the best in his travels into the beyond,I hope he reunites with your mother.

Your dad will goto a better place, and to be with mom, about 15 years ago my Uncle Frank was in the hospital , he was always healthy a strong dutch man, then all of the sudden in a serious condition , my mom (his sister) had told me about a son of his that had passed away as an infant, well when the doctors said they will have to pull the plug, had to happen , well my mom and dad were in the room , my dad not being very spiritual , when they pulled the plug my dad saw my uncles spirit rise and my dad noticed above the bed was a young man( his son) he was waited for his dad!! there is a better place :) prayers, have a great day! You know what they say, my friend. The apple does not fall too far from the tree. Your Dad must be quite a guy for doing the job he did on you. My best to your entire family. I pray that the transition will be comfortable and smooth for all of you and your loved ones.

Continuing in prayers and good thoughts for you and yours.

Kushy, I hope that you stay at his side during this end of his journey. Keep talking to him (they say the hearing is the last to go) and let him know that it is ok for him to go to his next home.

My own mother died in my arms 32 years ago and it was a beautiful spiritual experience. Thanking her for being there to welcome me into this world and in turn, holding her as she took her last breath. It helped us both, I am sure of it.

You know that we are ALL here for you.
