I normally don't whine or complain about life, but this year has been tough. In a nutshell, January, I had a accident that has left me not able to work or drive. March, hubby was laid off work, company sold out. He still has no job. He hears, "you are over qualified". What a joke!
It is now November, no job, no medical and we have used all our savings. He is constantly in pain. We will lose our home if something doesn't happen quick. Last but very important, My dad went in for his check-up and was told he has uncurable cancer. We are waiting for more test results. I am just so tired of it all.

If you can, please lift us up in prayer.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

The only advice I can give is to do the best you can to persevere. Even when times are tough, have the faith in yourself that you will get through and do what you must to get through it all. The job market out there is very tough, and probably getting tougher, but eventually something has to come along, every open job needs someone to fill it.

I will pray for your safe passage through this tumultuous time.

ya know !! ya been around !! and you have shown me at least that you have compassion!!! ley me ask you this !!! are ya like close to the valley!!! can either one of ya use a scale??? or a phone and fax??? iam sure that at least one of ya can get some relief here!!!! um if ya have a prob with meds !! ive gone to shake !!! and it works wonders!!! there are a few co ops that will at least help you with the head trip or pain portain!!! if yer in needof some help !!! please p,m me and ill try my hardest tomeet what ever it takes to make you happy!!! and believe me there are alot of others that i speak for!! we luv ya lab rat

You poor things. I get all emotional at this hour. I really am sorry to hear this. I went through the 'you're overqualified' thing for a long time recently. Luckily I found this job for which I am STILL overqualified but they took me anyway. :slaugh:

You know the saying. When it rains it pours. I'm so sorry that you have been going through tough times. I think alot of us here can definately sympathize with what you are going though. When you are hurt, sick and unable to work, life can be so rough, and seem cruel at times.
I read where you are a couple of hours away from the Valley. But if you can make it to the SF Valley, I know I can help you with some meds.
I have some outdoors that I grew and I would be more than willing to share some of what I got with you. Let me know if this will help you.
In the meantime, I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

What comes with age is the knowledge of knowing that whatever road it is we are walking down....we aren't alone, and there is a fork in the road up there somewhere, there will be brighter tomorrows. LadyK please know that healing positive thoughts are being sent your way to you and yours.

LK, I know of three people that can personally help you.

We all want you to be comfortable and from time to time, we ALL hit dry spells. Then family and friends step in and help out some.
