Rep Power: 32 | Those who live by the guidance of reason are most likely to live in harmony with one another. Since knowledge can be possessed equally by all who seek it, it can be sought by all without creating conflict. Our faith includes an intellectual love of God/Nature. Cannabis Sanctuary rejects classical theism. Our priorities are heretical compared with most of today's mainstream faiths. Our inspirations go back to Buddha, Spinoza and Jesus, although none are mentioned by name during services or in our Church Doctrine. We identify God with Nature. Nature is not distinct from and subordinate to God but rather one and the same with Devine power. We believe in something called Substance Monism. This prohibits us from affirming the kind of dualism that Descartes affirmed, one in which mind and body are conceived as distinct substances. If your physical existence is filled with pain, panic or anxiety then your soul suffers and visa versa. This mechanism will lead to a downward spiral of body/mind if your body or soul is suffering. Cannabis Sanctuary celebrates liberation, a liberation that is directly tied to the cultivation of reason. This is an ancient perspective not shared with most of today's faiths. ALL are welcome, including LGBT's or folks with other religious memberships or affiliations. Last edited by Ministry_Of_Hope; 01-29-2009 at 02:30 PM.. |

Rep Power: 42942 | This chick once told me..."...you haven't met God until you've found God on the potty." I said..."...WHAT???" She laughed and said, ..."...you're young. Just wait." I said..."...okay, &1*>< (blow) me." She laughed and blew me. ...I found God on the potty many, many years later. Holy Shit. ...I had no idea. Un-fucking-believeable. "OH DEAR GOD, HELP ME!!!" It's like being re-born if you ask me. Liberating. Now? I always maintain a healthy diet high in fiber and it's in and out! I found God on the potty. |
