300 people protested in front of the governors office today. After it was over we all gathered to a near by dispensary to continue mingling and discussing about the protest and the conflict that has been going on. Well the DEA did not like us pretesting and decided to raid the dispensary where we were all gathered in PEACE to try to think of ways to resolve all this shit. I just cant believe it!

Again ,ALL we 'can do' is keep med ,$$$ losses at a minimum ... daily recp't pick_ups ,meds replenished daily (min. invntry.on hand) ,get creative in 'disposing ,destroying ,any meds on hand during a raid ... we should keep meds/cash out of enemy's hands ,which would only be used against us ... crdt.crds. become very handy/safe for all during dangerous times ... that is all .....

We should be allowed to assemble and protest without the federal government Acting like a bunch of asses stealing medication and money from sick people. Just to stuff it back in our face as to shut us up.

Be positive...all the negatives are going to ruin your peaceful minds. If you let bad things make you angry, it is not good for your heart, literally, and also spiritually. Things happen for a reason. The public is our greatest support, and if we antagonize the public by being rude to them, i.e., smoking infront of their faces even though you know they are against it. The best thing is to get the public on our side, and so that even non smokers or non patients will see that marijuana is not dangerous, unlike what the federal governments media campaign against it.

Here's an idea.

Remember their ad for war on drugs. This is your brain on drugs, and they show an egg frying. This is true with most drugs, even the FDA approved drugs. But I am quite sure that marijuana will not fry your brain. I am 100 % positive on that..I will bet my life savings, my properties, and my soul, if the FDA could prove to me that marijuana will fry my brains....

I CHALLENGE THE FDA TO SHOW ME THAT MARIJUANA WOULD FRY MY BRAIN CELLS.

The public is already on "our" side. (read any recent poll) The Federal government knows this and acts as it does from an inferior position, harming itself politically by it's own actions. Au contraire. The "voting" public is completely on the side of the current militant, wrong-wing, oppressive locked-down government we call our country. Polls are not reliable indicators of the intent of the voting public.

Check out those folks in Iowa, they are running our country.

While the DEA is fucking us over, meth labs are raging in their own backyards, burning through a generation that will make the crack-babies of the 90's look like cabbage patch dolls, but like the rest of the robotic, small-minded, empty-souled people WHO RUN OUR COUNTRY, they would rather take us down for having the chutzpah to freely choose to allow safe, unfettered access to a plant with unpararelled healing properties. Apparently, voters in individual states do not have the inherent power to decide their own fates, as evidenced in the current situation of federal v. state will vis-a-vis medical marijuana. These raids are a bold show of power. Can you imagine a California law enforcement agency egregiously smashing their way into a federal setting of any kind, and stealing money and property from them? I can't.

This show of power has a chilling effect on anyone who values individual and/or states' rights and freedom. As it is intended to do.

Those are some great post my friends! I really do think our vote counted way back when before I was alive, but now votes are thrown out and all the political elections are fixed! They already know who next president is!

This situation has not been substantially different at least since 1937 and the Wickard V Filburt decision. This is when the Constitution was interpreted via the Commerce clause to allow Congress to regulate interstate commerce broadly. This in conjunction with the Federal supremacy rulings do keep us for the time being relatively stuck.

This is a civil disobedience action with no end in sight. I agree not much will change until the changing of the guard in late '08 or early '09. The problem for the Feds is our numbers. They don't have enough courtrooms, judges, prosecutors, or prison cells for us all, thus the snatch and grab raids. This perversely is an indication that we are indeed winning.

The infamous "This is your brain on drugs" campaigns were not meant to be geared towards marijuana but kind of got there by association. The gentleman who directed them started out in documentary film-making and has since made a lot of money off modern propaganda for clients like Kodak and Pepsi.

We need to differentiate medical marijuana from DEAth drugs by using our medicine responsibly and within a proper context.
