don't you think that the DEA is wrapping up all their old investigations?? i hate how people have to jump on the band wagon and blame Obama. Obama has a lot more imporant issues to deal with right now, and how do we know he even approved of these raids? Its bad that these raids happen, BUT most of these raids happen for legitimate reasons.

Sorry, but breaking the law is not justifiable whatsoever,.
Furthermore there is no legitimate reason "at all",.

And a MMJ Doctors office. OMG they killed kenny. I'm scared for all of us. It makes no sense.

OK no body killed anyone named kenny but come on what the hell. I renewed my rec today hope my Dr's office isn't next.

I got my second Synvisk shot in my knee today but I may show up and make some noise tomorrow. If I don't make it my spirit will be there. Some one yell "Free Charles Lynch" for me.

Dispensaries Raided

Los Angeles - Drug Enforcement Administration agents raided five Westside marijuana dispensaries and a doctor's office today, and a spokesperson defended their actions, despite President Barack Obama's opposition to such raids.

One raid was at the Marina Caregivers at 730 W. Washington Blvd. about noon, said Sarah Pullen of the DEA. Pullen said other facilities were being raided today, but would not say how many or where.

Marina Caregivers was served with a search warrant, she said, declining to say if anyone was arrested.

A Los Angeles police spokesperson said the department, which is normally notified of such operations, did not receive advance warning from DEA. However, Brett Stone, a medical marijuana activist, said Los Angeles police were present for at least one raid.

Stone told City News Service a Venice dispensary called The Nile, 1501 Pacific Ave., was raided and a raid was conducted earlier at Venice Alternative Healing, 421 Rose Ave.

Raids were also conducted at the Alternative Caregivers Discount Dispensary, 122 S. Lincoln Blvd., in Venice, and the Beach Center Collective, 310 Culver Blvd., in Playa Del Rey, Stone said.

A doctor's office at 122 S. Lincoln Blvd. was also raided. It was not known if patients' records were taken.

When are we going to start organizing national days of protest. THIS MUST STOP!!!

I understand that obama has a lot on his plate right now, but you know what, he's the president. IT's a tough job, but you know that walking into the roll. Honestly, how long does it take to have an aid draw up an order to stop the raids, a day? And to sign it, maybe 5 seconds?

Its important to show up at this rally to influence the president to consider taking some action to stop the raids. If the turnout is low after raids occur in spite of his stated objectives how can anyone expect him to act on this issue when there are so many more pressing issues.

Two thirds of the population support medical marijuana, hundreds of thousand of patients use it for medical purposes but not many of them can break the couch lock long enough to stand up and state their support! WTF!

I think there are more in support of MMJ than imigration yet so many more show up at immigration rallys because they have something they do not want to lose.

Are we all just too stoned to even care is that the problem, we just do not care if we lose the rights. People stood up for this right 13 years ago, they worked their asses off for years to get this right and now its our turn to stand up.

Or I guess you could Just mail it in and let others show their support after all I paid for the right and after I paid for it the doctor gave me a piece of paper, what more can anyone do.
