For those who don't know,
The Pomona Police raided a brand new Dispensary in the City Friday. The details are posted on a couple of Cannabis forums and on Google...
A Protest is planned to be held in front of the Pomona Police Dept. starting at 8:30am on Friday...May 8th.....
Look on Google for more info......
There are No Dispensaries to be found east of the L.A. County line.. All the way to Palm Springs...
We need your support at this Protest... This is were we make our stand and fight local governments who are conspiring to find any means possible to keep distribution of MMJ in there cities from happening. Even if it violates state laws and guild lines put in place presently...
We need bodies out here Friday......

[SIZE="4"]Congratulations SB COUNTY, you are still the most corrupt and shady county there is. What is it sb county don't understand, prop 215 is a LAW, and is not open for debate, get over it already.

Santa Barbara County has always been kind to me personally. I cannot speak for anyone else's experience; however, if you have had a bad experience, I think you should speak with the management of the dispensary you visited. Yes, I will grant you that Santa Barbara is more expensive than places in Los Angeles; however, your only other choice is to drive down the coast to Santa Monica, Malibu or West LA. As you may be aware, Ventura is still very closed to the idea.

Dan, I hope you have a better experience with people in Santa Barbara in the future. If you PM me and if it is allowed, I can recommend places that are honest with great staff. I don't think I can do that on a board.

Right now, EVERYONE in that town needs our good thoughts and prayers!

Oh dear, I really can be a moron sometimes.

My face is beet red over this one.

It's like the time I saw cannisters of CO2 at a store and exclaimed to my husband, "Oh look honey, we can make homemade root beer with this!!!". He and the person helping him just shook their heads with that look in their eyes only reserved for small children and the simple minded. No wonder he came over and just patted me on the head and replied, "Yes honey, we'll make some root beer."

It was one of my better Lucy and Ethel moments.

In any event, best to move on. I'm certain there will be many other things over which I can embarass myself . . .

I live in Diamond Bar, there are VERY FEW places I can go to get quality meds for good prices within a 15 mile radius. There is a place (farm assist caregivers) down the street from me but they are way too over priced. There was a new co op in Covina that was open for a few weeks that was pretty decent, but they too got shut down. Needless to say I drive to downtown la for my meds. Point of the story, we need more safe places were patients can go to get quality meds in the san gabriel valley. I will try to make it to the pomona court house tomorrow morning for the protest...maybe you'll see me on tv...

they claim they were in compliance with state and county laws. pomona P.D. physically and verbally harassed patients and volunteers. some cops need to loose there jobs over this and mabye even be locked up. its rediculous how they treat sick people in that city.

Thank you for posting the link to the story jd123. This is local pigs at work. I bet the locals wanted to do this one without the DEA? Old School. Didn't old school truck drivers run cops over on the side of the road. Old School. I wonder if any of the cops were named Bubba or Billy Roy Bob.

the covina club you mention has moved several times, from covina to this pomona location, they were open for 5 days in pomona and then shut down by local police. The club in diamond bar is way over priced! if you want good quality at a decent price you have to drive to la, and that is the issue many of us face living on the eastern edge of los angeles county.
