Exclamation Help Save AAC!

AAC - Apothecary's Assistants Collective, on the border between Signal Hill and Long Beach, is being forced to close by the city of Signal Hill on Thursday, August 6, at 6pm - date and time corrected on 8/3/2009.

We are holding a Visual Protest
of signs and supporters at the August 4th Signal Hill City Council meeting.

If you would like to help or get more information:
We'll be making signs Tuesday afternoon starting around 4:20 - come join us, and then go make a stand at the city council meeting at 7:00 pm

Also - you can call us at the collective at (562) 498-6420

Thank you for your help and support!
Jon, onehumanbeing

PS. We're giving away buttons to our supporters and volunteers this week...

Buttons Available on Monday -

I Support Legal Access in Signal Hill

Re: Help Save AAC!

As a citizen of Signal Hill, I wish you the best of luck with the council. For those coming to the council meeting, beware of LEO. These guys make their own rules, terrify those who they can, and that ain't good.

Exclamation Photos from Demonstration - August 4, 2009 - Signal Hill City Hall

The struggle continues...

If they don't see you, you don't matter...

A small group of AAC members and friends head off to make themselves "visible" to the city council and speak on the collective's behalf - good times!

My respect to the members who showed up - Charles, Brian, Henry, Michael, Scott and Roderick. Thanks for being there for us!

for more photos from last night...

I feel like I've run a marathon these last few day getting things ready for last's nights demonstration at Signal Hill city hall, setting up our media campaign (yes - we have one of those), A Facebook page for AAC, a Facebook Group group - Help Save AAC and numerous postings on other sites to draw attention to our struggle.

Today - I'm a bit exhausted and can feel another depression trying to move in - keep me it your prayers today - pray for renewed strength - thanks!

I'll be back to my volunteer work as soon as I've rest a bit.

Until later, best of health,
Jon, onehumanbeing
