WT'ers,

I heard over the weekend from a source who's in the know (as in, IN the know) that Compassion King will be appearing in court on November 18th. I am unsure what this is concerning other than I heard he is attempting to get his confiscated inventory returned.

Assuming he wants it, (Skinzy? watcha think?) that is far enough away that mobilizing a lot of people for a little show of support shouldn't be too hard.

Thoughts?

I am questioning this approach? I do NOT think it's prudent to fill the court room at this time with MMJ patients.

Actually I bet Kevin's attorney really wouldn't be down for that, but then I am only thinking out loud based on experience.

I think it's smart to just keep apprised of what is going on at this time rather than going down to VN Court.

It will bring to much attention to Kevin, also it could get camera crews from TV stations there too which again, at this time, I don't think that's a good idea either.

Let Kevin and his Attorney deal with the courts for a while alone. If a trial ensues we'll play it by ear then.. but for now, personally, I think it's smart not to go.

That's my opinion...

Gotta agree with Zbest.... having a bunch of supporters in the court room for CK could do nothing but piss off the court system and make life even more difficult for CK...

he said thanks to everyone for their support and that he would like to hold off just for now until he gets more info from his attorney.

Court support should only be arranged after the client and his attorney have conferred together and decided it's appropriate.

Quite often there are good reasons for NOT having people in court.

1. The proceeding is brief and involves a continuance or some other matter which isn't really part of the trial.

2. The attorney has determined that for WHATEVER REASON that it would be adverse to his client's interests to have court support.

3. The client has decided, for WHATEVER REASON that he would prefer not to have people in the court room.

Please, before you show up, contact the client or his attorney and find out whether your presence is desired or needed.

I'm just thinking that if NNCC wanted all their threads taken off that maybe ( i don't know nuttin) but maybe they don't want the case discussed here? Just some food for thought from somebody that used to be there, Peace ......... Dale!
