Landon, here's an idea - let's try to NOT insult members of the government who are liberal and pro-cannabis

Yes - this was just a rumor. Pelosi's office never said that 10,000 calls would equal hearings. However, ASA and other organizations are working with Pelosi's office, and she is certainly willing to help out with our issue.

Even if there is no guarentee that X number of calls = hearings, I called last week and I reccommend that everyone else does as well. It was very satisfying to relay my sentiments on the issue to someone who is connected to Speaker Pelosi. We can hope that she will respond.

Call. Call Pelosi and your other state representatives who did not have a bogus news story forwarding around. We all need to be contacting our representatives regularly. It is one of the few ways we CAN have a voice.

the Issue was not the phone calls, it was the few that were "Drunk-Dialing" the office 20 and 30 times in a row. It tends to lessen our credibility. They invite us to call with citizens concerns, That is their Job.

But hey I heard over 34K in 72 hours from all over the United States. No actual count on E-Mails. That was one POWERFUL Rumor...

How many of you remembered to CC: your E-mails to Pelosi to Comments@whitehouse.gov.. If you're gonna piss in anyones oatmeal, Make it W's
