who went last year ? i did myself and hada great time.

seems early in the day is speakers and as the day goes bands, dancers, comedians and it ends with hour long open forum for public to speak out and be heard by those attending...

iy would be a great time for a WT gathering , no ?

Is there any enterance charge? Is this like a convention, or is it more like an audeince listneing to spaekers?

The donation is five dollars, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

This is not an ASA event, though ASA will have booth, as will many other causes and dispensaries.

as stated before sponsored by la mmj task force and la chapter of asa. the person incharge is the loud out spoken for our cause richard eastman one of the folks who helped write prop 215 and also open the 1st mmj co-op in l.a. which was closed by the police and then was opened in a church. profits if there is any cause it costs money to rent the hall, entertainment, permits, advo and such will go back into our fight and help those inneed.

wheelchair accessable for sure, also be chairs for seating.

plenty of street parking as well as parking lot and parking garage all located right next to the community center.

wide open room with large stage for enterainers, speakers and will be an open forum where all can get and speak out to everyone.

trying to get food vendors but there will be co-ops, head shops, activism, causes and other vendors.

It's in the park's community center. It's HC accessable by WC's.
Parking right there will be tough. We had to walk a couple of blocks but got there when it was buzy.. there is street parking on San Vincente and on Robertson if I recall correctly.

I went to this last year and had a total blast. It was so amazing to be out at such wonderful event with others. There was no food available but that was the best part. A bunch of us walked along Santa Monica Blvd and found a restaurant who didn't mind us medicating while waiting for our food. I don't remember the name, but they served mexican style food, had outdoor seating and opened their arms to us mmj patients.
Another idea is to bring blankets and have a picnic. There's a park surrounding the community bldg where this event is held.
I vote for having a WT Potluck Picnic in the Park. Plus it will give an area where we can all sit down, eat and rest while attending this event.

Been waiting for this a while now....

missed it last year but this was one of the only events i heard only good stuff about.....

this is the "season" for events and this 1 might be the best and by far the cheapest to attend....

This is a GREAT idea, a picnic for Weedtrackers. Just remember that the park itself is full of children and their parents. The Patient's Exposition takes place in an auditorium and the adjacent parking lot. The rest of the park is being used by the people who typically populate parks on the weekends.
