They are so caught up on this race thing, but what they should really worry about is how uneducated they are. Ya they may be "white" but they are still brainless wastes of space who obviously have no idea how this country was formed or how the world works. My .02 |

You'll find that progressives in the urban areas are pretty concentrated. But in Johnstown? Yeah, I can probably believe that would be that type of crowd. |

| Re: Shame on you Republicans! The Republican party is very Sick. They must be stopped immediately. If they win the election, this country is totally fucked. Good news is, looks like they're losing it in more ways than one. They're acting like cornered animals. It's ugly to see, but it's really no surprise to a lot of us. Nothing they do ever surprises me. They're capable of madness of many kinds. |

There's a world of difference between the two parties, and that's what the past 8 years was proof of. I'm not saying the Dems are perfect, but let's be real here. The Republicans are sick. The investigators level a deadly serious charge: "If Democrats are to win the 2008 election, they must not simply beat McCain at the polls - they must beat him by a margin that exceeds the level of GOP vote tampering." ROLLING STONE: It's Already Stolen http://www.gregpalast.com/rolling-st...lready-stolen/ Block the Vote by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. & Greg Palast in the current issue (#1064) of Rolling Stone. Investigation by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Greg Palast released today Don’t worry about Mickey Mouse or ACORN stealing the election. According to an investigative report out today in Rolling Stone magazine, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Greg Palast, after a year-long investigation, reveal a systematic program of "GOP vote tampering" on a massive scale. - Republican Secretaries of State of swing-state Colorado have quietly purged one in six names from their voter rolls. Over several months, the GOP politicos in Colorado stonewalled every attempt by Rolling Stone to get an answer to the massive purge - ten times the average state's rate of removal. - While Obama dreams of riding to the White House on a wave of new voters, more then 2.7 million have had their registrations REJECTED under new procedures signed into law by George Bush. Kennedy, a voting rights lawyer, charges this is a resurgence of 'Jim Crow' tactics to wrongly block Black and Hispanic voters. - A fired US prosecutor levels new charges - accusing leaders of his own party, Republicans, with criminal acts in an attempt to block legal voters as "fraudulent." - Digging through government records, the Kennedy-Palast team discovered that, in 2004, a GOP scheme called "caging” ultimately took away the rights of 1.1 million voters. The Rolling Stone duo predict that, this November 4, it will be far worse. There's more: - Since the last presidential race, "States used dubious 'list management' rules to scrub at least 10 million voters from their rolls." Among those was Paul Maez of Las Vegas, New Mexico - a victim of an unreported but devastating purge of voters in that state that left as many as one in nine Democrats without a vote. For Maez, the state's purging his registration was particularly shocking - he's the county elections supervisor. The Kennedy-Palast revelations go far beyond the sum of questionably purged voters recently reported by the New York Times. "Republican operatives - the party's elite commandos of bare-knuckle politics," report Kennedy and Palast, under the cover of fighting fraudulent voting, are "systematically disenfranchis[ing] Democrats." The investigators level a deadly serious charge: "If Democrats are to win the 2008 election, they must not simply beat McCain at the polls - they must beat him by a margin that exceeds the level of GOP vote tampering." Block the Vote by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. & Greg Palast in the current issue (#1064) of Rolling Stone. [Media enquiries - Dave Falkenstein, Sunshine Sachs & Assoc, via interviews@gregpalast.com.] Note - Kennedy and Palast are releasing, simultaneously with the Rolling Stone investigative report what they call, the vote-theft 'antidote': a 24-page full-color comic book, Steal Back Your Vote, which can be downloaded or obtained in print from their non-partisan website, StealBackYourVote.org For updates and video reports, go to RollingStone.com, www.GregPalast.com and StealBackYourVote.org. |

Were you worried about the economy collapsing or being attacked by a Saudi terrorist? Obama is not going to turn you into a mutant. Stop being so damn paranoid. Our country will die under another Republican President. Be reasonable. Your party is sick. They're lying about Obama. Bill Ayers? Oh for fuck's sake. This is too serious to be duped again. Rep Power: 7944 | Re: Shame on you Republicans! The biggest lies out there are being spread by the Democrats. The Democrats are spreading lies about McCains political ads being lies. The truth is the Democrats cant handle the truth about their candidate and his associations. There is only one choice for a healthy america, its not a good choice but it beats the other choice hands down. I do believe Obama will change america and it scares me. I feel the comfort from McCain that he will put Americans first and will veto as much as he can of the crap that will come out of the Democrat controlled House and Senate. If Obama wins the house and the senate will be unchecked and this country will be changed for two years and then we will all vote republican in the house and senate, but then it may be too late and we may have changed too much to get america back, that alone should scare you enough to vote McCain this time. Clinton changed the rules that allowed for the deregulation of derivatives and also removed the regulations on banks that were placed during the depressino to protect us from the banks. The banks were kept in check by the republicans until the democrats took the house in 2006 and in less than two years the democrats destroyed our economy. McCain tried in those two years to stop the insanity in housing lending but his measures were not addressed because of Democrats controll of the house and the finance commitee. If you vote for Obama you have not considered all the facts. I fear that businesses will not be able to afford the cost of employees or the nanny regulations. Remember the difference between Democrats and Republicans. One believes that man is good and will generally do the right thing, the other believes man is evil and needs to be controlled by regulation. I believe that man is good. Look at who uses the money that they earned to help the world, it is the rich lick Gates and Buffet, you never see the poor do anything but complain about the life they have made for themselves because they lack a positive viewpoint and expect others to take care of them and provide for them. Man is good not evil that is all you need to know. How scary it must be to be a democrat and believe that man is evil and every action must be controlled. I am no puppet do not tell me how to live, I know right from wrong, I do not need democrats to tell me what is right and what I should spend my hard earned money on. We do not need a distribution of wealth by means other than hard work and dedication. If they want something they should work their ass off for it like everyone else, everyone has the same opportunity some just piss it away and do not even try to better themselves. You show me someone who is no one and I will show you why, you show me someone who is someone and you will know why. |

Last election Republicans hired off-duty LEOS to harass any voters they suspected of voting for the other side! Acorn hires anybody to "registar" voters but that won't add to election totals it is "Registration Fraud" not "Voter Fraud", difference is the latter needs to have ID with Mickey Mouse or whatever to suceed. This never hapens to any significant degree. So close states will have more Florida action, mark my words. Peace!!! Bad... |

| Re: Shame on you Republicans! Well, it seems like some of our Republican friends still don't get it. They don't see the difference between the two parties after all we've been through the past 8 years, and all we're about to go through. The deficit for next year is expected to be $1 trillion. That's an example of one of the many messes Bush and the GOP are leaving the rest of us to clean up. When Clinton left, he left with a $150 billion budget SURPLUS for 2001. That's a fact, and if you don't believe me, look it up. If Republican voters want MORE of this shit, if enough of them vote, this country will probably fall apart and crazy shit will happen. Bush more than doubled the deficit. It took us 224 years to get it to $5.3 trillion when Bush walked in. It's now going to be well over $11 trillion when he leaves. If you people think that obscene fact - doubling the debt in 8 years, isn't a glaring example of the total failure of the Republican party, who also controlled Congress for 6 of the last 8 years, I don't know what the hell to say. It's shocking that you guys would vote for more of the same, more failed Republican policies, because that's exactly what you're going to get with McCain. We're losing two wars, and we're going to lose them since we can't afford to be there anymore. We've got a major economic crisis, thanks to 8 years of Republican bs, and you guys want to blame Bill Clinton? Wake up. You're fucking up your own country. Enough, already. This is life and death now. You think this country can't fall apart? It already is. Stop hurting your country. For God's sake THINK before you vote. We've all suffered enough. It's time to try something else. It's just ego now. You were wrong. Acknowledge your monster fuckup, and stop making the same mistake over and over again. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't effect EVERYBODY'S lives, but since it does - stop just thinking about your damn ego and use your brain. OH yeah, and guess what, Republican potheads. Your party wants to throw you in a fucking cage for smoking MMJ. They want to cut the supply, end the co-ops, make everyone afraid of MMJ, and get you back on Xanax and Vicodin full time. So think about that too when you decide to vote Republican on Nov. 4. Last edited by senorlou; 10-20-2008 at 03:58 PM.. |
