Guess I should sit next to Rushbo when I go bet on the horse races. Maybe he can predict me a winner. Here is my prediction: More and more people will come to realize that Rush has no moral compass. He is in this entertainment thing for only his own enrichment.

Wow, Rush predicted that a man with a massive, malignant brain tumor would die within six months? Where does he come up with this stuff! Would that I had access to Rush's crystal ball. I'd be a very rich girlie, I'll say that much.

Guess what? My father had the exact same kind of cancer. He, too, died within a year of diagnosis. Talk about a spooky coincidence!

Sadly, morality isn't very entertaining. People want murder, death, war, etc. Peace, love, and good feelings don't seem to get the ratings. People would rather spend money on tabloids than on real journalism, and TV journalism is even worse.

By focusing on something that happened 40 years ago and was investiged and abjudiated, you are contributing to the further deterioration of polite political discourse. I loathed every second of Reagans Presidency and his tenure as Governor of California, but I sure as hell respect him for his public service. I was on the Burbank Blvd overpass on the 405 watching the motorcade head toward Simi Valley.

With Ted's passing so ends another era of our country.. Like it or not, it is part of what makes this country so great.

Personally, warts and all, I greatly respect what Ted Kennedy did for this country. I will miss that ole codger.

So, as I said, Rest in Peace Mr. Kennedy.

Rush Limbaugh? Please....why does anyone listen? He's just an entertainer just like Howard Stern. Say something controversial and get ratings. It's all about ratings and $$$$$. I wish people would just stop talking about him, listening to him and eventually he'll just go away. It's all about publicity and if we just stopped taking him seriously and tuned him out, the ratings would drop and he would just go away.

I am not a Reagonite and did not like his terms in office but he was not responsible for someone's death. Kennedy got away with womanslaughter just because he was a Kennedy. Regardless of his reign and accomplishments there is a person's life that was taken because of his neglect and probable drinking problem but more so his cowardice. John was a patriot and one of the greatest to serve as POTUS. Bobby a great national tragedy that still brings back tears of that horrible day. Ted was just fortunate to be born in the clan. Anytime someone disagrees with you Bratton you label them a "hater". Doesn't that make you one as well? Just because someone has a different point of view does not mean that they do so because of hate.

Teddy may have done some good but how can you just dismiss the most precious thing we have and that's life. To save his political career someone paid the ultimate price and that's why he never ascended to higher office. He may have been adjudicated but so was O.J. No I'm not saying O.J. and Teddy are comparable I'm only stating that it does not matter that he was adjudicated. They both got away with taking life(s) and does it matter if it was 40 years ago or today? Life is precious and I'll morn John and Bobby and salute Eunice for her contributions but Teddy, I'll not trivialize Mary Jo's death or life and remember him for what he did not do.

I absolutely believe in Free Speech and enjoy hearing different points of view. When Dick Cheney dies, I feel it is my duty as an American and a human being to allow his family to bury him, and I will salute him for his public service. After the burial I will then revert back to my soapbox and call him the liar and profiteer he truly is. Love or hate Ted Kennedy, you have to respect his tenacity and his service IMHO. Last night I had to hear from my kids that my Father in law and Brother in law were both telling my kids that they were happy Ted Kennedy died. I just shrugged and blamed it on Wingnuttery. I don't wish anyone dead.

It's a surprise to me that anyone even cares about either of these people, they are/were both useless leeches. Rush's show and entire Kennedy familys' exploits is just mindless entertainment (see Distraction) for sheeplike masses. I don't believe in hell, but I can only hope that Ted's there and Rush will be soon, if such a place were to exist. I'll settle for knowing that the Senator at least suffered quite a bit.

Judging other people for an eternity are we??? Your house better be squeaky clean and have no glass if you choose to throw stones so brazenly. I loathe Rush Limbaugh, but I sure as heck won't comment on his after life. Wishing people a fate worse than death must be a heavy burden to carry around and live up to.

Yes, R.I.P. Ted Kennedy.

I remember one bill he authored, got GW Bush to sign. Then all the anti Bush people blamed him for it. They never blamed Ted. Why?

It was labeled as "No Child Left Behind". Why was only Bush blamed for this law and not the person who authored it? If it was a crappy bill, which I never read, why wasn't Ted getting his far share of heat from the people who did not like the piece of legislation? Don't get me wrong, if there is a good reason to be mad about the bill, then GW Bush deserved his share. But, why didn't Ted?
