Rep Power: 2703 | Re: obamas vice president Well I hope it's Hillary, yeah I know a lot of you will go......same old business as usual, she's just the old establishment... But, I really think He reallly Needs her to stand a chance to beat McCain. Plus even though I'm a guy I am sooooooo for Women's rights and equality, I think the women and little girls in this country need her in the Whitehouse, they've struggled for sooooo many years in sooo many ways and this would be a super positive step in the Right direction. Obama got super super Lucky and kind of yanked the rug out from under their hopes and dreams, it's the least he can do. Wouldn't you love to be able to say to your Daughter, Granddaughter, Niece, Sister, or any young girl you know...... "Hey look what is possible, with lots of hard work and luck you could be President someday, the sky really is the limit" |

Richardson doesn't have a chance... My prediction, will be Evan Bayh, the Governor of Indiana. Bayh is a centrist to Obama's hard left. America will not vote hard left, as is already evidenced in Obama's dropping poll numbers. Richardson has too much baggage, including being considered a Judas to angry Hillary supporters. No, unfortunately America does not want too much change. I also predict, regretably, that Obama will not be the next President. If you're trying to feel the pulse of the election by talking with friends and people here locally in Cali, you've got a false sense... I've got family and friends in the "Deep South" and "Middle America"...from the chatter in that population, it seems Obama is doomed. As for McCain.... I think he might show is "maverick" trademark and pick Joe Liberman... I think he figures conservatives will vote for him no matter what, because to them, Obama is the arch-liberal. Having Liberman - Al Gore's VP running mate - will definately appeal to the center. | |

Rep Power: 190831 | Re: obamas vice president fivethirtyeight.com still shows obama winning the electoral vote, but the lead is narrowing. i think that mccain just made a big mistake yesterday by not knowing how many houses he owns. thats going to hurt him with the "average" american that he tries so hard to portray himself as. oh and btw, his arizona home was in ARCHITECTUAL DIGEST whos the elietist? its not obama.. |

Rep Power: 1022 | Re: obamas vice president ABC is now reporting that Secret Service has been dispatched to Biden's house and he is now in their protective custody. So, it looks like it will be him. We'll see for sure tomorrow, but this is certainly a pretty good indicator. Personally, I liked Hillary. Oh well, anything's better than Bush III. Plus, at least with Biden, things will be interesting. Peace! |
