I thought for sure I would have seen this on WT all ready. This is old news too but since no one else has posted it, I guess I will. Obama's first order of business was turn away the Patriot Act, which I actually agree with. The night before voting in congress happens our president elect has his first security briefing. What happens the next fucking day? He votes for the fucking Patriot Act. His first order of business and he lied all ready. This against our American rights it's unreasonable/unwarranted search and siezure. At the same time it just goes to show that there is a lot of fucked up terrorist shit going on in our own country that Obama didn't even know about if he changed his mind like that. Isn't that one thing you democrats supposedly hate really bad, this whole Patriot Act thing? Now that Obama is for it, I guess it's okay now huh? Is that why I'm the first one here to post something about this? Either that or he's doing it now to help out his middle eastern cousins which definitely is not that for far fetched especially for a guy who's first name is Barrack middle name Hussein last name Obama. I just can't believe it!

Gates knows his shit about defense and is not a political player, you need someone who understands the military, knows how to work with them, and be a good administrator.

It is a critical appointment that should not be dished out to a zealot who hates the military and wants to pick it apart.

me personally I feel that we need to get away from the democratic and republican parties and elect an independent or someone else from another party cause even though I support obama I am actually tired of both parties and would like to see some new blood in office.
