Rep Power: 4321 | MMJ Patient I.D. Cards in San Diego After yesterday's San Diego County Board of Supervisors meeting, I was more than a little confused that no discussion of this issue was conducted by the Board. Four patients were allowed two minutes each to address the Board and that was it. So, to bring some clarity and understanding to this matter, I emailed my County Supervisor, Ron Roberts. He let me know that the issue was not on the agenda yesterday, but that it would be "in the near future". He also reminded me that he was "a minority of one on this issue" and "did not support the filing of a lawsuit by the County". As a fairly new MMJ patient (and an even newer resident of San Diego), I was glad to hear of his opposition to the lawsuit. He promised that an assistant would follow-up with me, on a timeline for this future discussion and action, related to the County's plans for distributing the Patient I.D. cards.
