Rep Power: 113264 | Re: Assessing Barack Obama--New York Times Interesting article there Stanley. I've seen a lot of similar stuff recently. I think the idea of holding him accountable to his campaign promises is fine 'n dandy. At the same time, I wish these folks would have waited till he'd actually been in control for a year prior to making these assessments. We're all aware of the fact that there's about a two month lag between the elections and taking the oath of office, so I'm a little puzzled. Rep Power: 17291 | Re: Assessing Barack Obama--New York Times thanks for the great article Stanly, they are starting to ask whats up (the media). VDC -- when he was running, he said he had a plan, he took the job, he has to perform. BB-- exactly, he changed the people running the war about 7 months ago i think, its been his plan since. Know its getting to the point where our allies are questioning why they are there (bbc). imo-- i bought the change thing, i wanted to see a clap down on unethical practices in the financial industry. I wanted to bring the troops home.. I wont vote for him again even if he puts a new porshe in my drive way... |

Rep Power: 20570 | Re: Assessing Barack Obama--New York Times VooDoo Chile.... I think the Times was just looking for an excuse to run the article... its one year since the election.... thus they get to say "a year after the promises"..... I too wish they had waited until he had been in office a full year. But, truthfully, I dont think it would change the results much. |
