People are grasping at straws now. It's mostly because they can't come out and say they are afraid because he is black. There are people worried about Obama's private army too, because once he said he wanted an army of volunteers to help communities and all. But any port in a storm when you don't have anything true to say.

Yes we need this just in case there is another hurricane Katrina and the military has to come in and unlawfully confiscate everyones guns. Everyone knows America will be much safer if the military can force their way into your home, point assault rifles at your face and stomp all over our constitution again.

Hmmmm..honestly..20k for the whole USA...shiiish we have more then that population in california alone....What is this world coming to and their rediculuus ratios..i.e:Gas prices go up/car prices go down.,..juuuuust a lil.....Jobs pay less..yet rent and payments on houses go higher and higher evry year... I really am speechless about this country..it aint the same the way it used to be...We all now fight for the wrong reasons..and the things we ought to be fighting for ....heh!!!!!theres just not even a handful around to even create an actually Activist group that can effectively change the laws and our rights on being patients and things like that... Dude, seriously, that's just straight up FALSE. The government did not confiscate guns from the rich white folks in New Orleans. It's pretty well known that those folks shot at any black person who happened to set foot in their neighborhoods.

Yes that video is fake they really weren't confiscating guns and breaking into homes. That was a propaganda piece put out by those dirty rich white people. It was just an attempt to drum up sympathy so they could shoot whoever was in a mile radius of their gun barrel.

They must have had one hell of an lawyer to get the New Orleans mayor to admit he put the bill of rights through a shredder during the events of Katrina.

I'm too busy hating, I hated Bush and I hate Obama because he has continued many core Bush policies whether you believe that or not. And for the record I know the NRA is a crooked organization which is why I support the GOA (Gun Owners of America). There would be absolutely no need for Ray Nagin to "suspend" the Bill of Rights to confiscate guns because the 2nd Amendment hasn't been incorporated to apply to the states.

Think about this fact. The vast majority of military personnel are gun owners in their private lives. So are the vast majotity of LEO's. This whole notion of someone "taking away our guns" has to have a physical component to it. There is no freaking way that our soldiers and cops are going to just mindlessly do the bidding of it's leaders, and therefore kill Americans and or get killed by Americans. Our leaders of course have no intention of embarking on a crusade against Americans. This whole business of ginning up Americans to hate other Americans has it's roots in power and politics. What a shame. Gun owners who take shooting seriously as a sport can't buy ammo because people with monetary interests are spreading lies.

There was a poll taken not to long ago that posed this question and asked the military that if told to if they would take up arms against us citizens.

96% said they would not take up arms against US citizens.

I think sometimes we fear the unknown and can really speculate and scare ourselves and each other. It's sad, but it sells. Just watch the News. I don't think we have anything to worry about. I hear this point of view all the time "Obama isn't black he's half white" Or Arab or something else to somehow discredit .. something?

The problem I see with this is racism isn't based off some in depth study of someone's genealogy or family history. Racism is based on appearance, and as it turns out Obama is black based on his appearance.

There are certain people that benefit heavily off of Racism and those people will make sure that it never goes away.

I see what you are saying, and since Obama has been elected we have had a magnifying glass over the racism in our country. But we are better than a lot of other places you know, we did elect a black president after all. But then living here in southern California I think you run into less racism than you do in most of the rest of the country.

LOL I dont know about that man, come down to Orange County. There is plenty of racism here and it is quite sad.

But yes, I will say compared to a lot of places, our racism is not that bad, look at south africa for example.

There's plenty of racism here too, but when I go back to Ohio to visit it just surprises me how different it is. The tone of the racism is much worse, much more accepted too. Funny enough the only time I really run into racist types is at my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, strange how many white supremacist types do BJJ...

I tworked well for the Nazisin Germany. All boys were required to join the Hitler youth and a fair share turned their own parents in just for saying negative about Her Hitler.
