Its bad enough dealing with shit than to match it with a shitty outlook too. And just to add a personal, "it could be worse" tale... When I was an adolescent and finding girls more attractive than sports I was visiting the family of a divorced woman with my divorced father on our twice monthly visitations... We began playing touch football in the back yard... Guess I should say that I was indeed showing off for the two girls... Both daughters of James Doohan (Scotty from Star Trek) So, one play I break away on a run, plant my right foot to cut back and go for the TD when my right foot slides out from under me and I land flat on my rump and back, sliding another couple yards and when I got up... I had stepped in a very fresh pile of doggie doo, slipped and fell into the pile which then covered my jeans, tee shirt and of course my right shoe... Well, that not only ended the football game, but any attraction either sister had for me... I was hosed down and my clothes were washed, but being one of the older kids, there wasn't anything "male" that would fit... After my hosing I got a womans robe to add insult to injury, but I didn't have a shitty outlook... :slaugh: |
