I'm bummed hen I bought appears to hve gotten munched by cat,racoon,opposum,coyote?
went to suite 215 late for the c.l. hearing stopped by a friends in l.a. got back and the roomies 1 injuried 1 brain injury were unable to put them all in the coop
sad thing is it was my fav bird as Ihad nursed her back from deaths doorstep
with gatorade and survive.she was always tame after that unlike the others,and would never run from me scritching her,and even manged to lay some eggs.
feel like sitting in my back yard tonight and waxing any predator that walks in...

I feel bad for you for what happened to your bird. Like I said before when are animals die I think their spirit still lives with us. Like when are cat Speedy a few years ago had to be put to sleep my mom said she could feel his footsteps on her bed before she went to sleep. Im pretty sure he visited me in my sleep a couple times in my dreams also. I know it doesnt bring her back but just know her spirit is with you and when we die I think we will see are pets that died in the past.

You can't see her body doesn't mean you can't feel her love.

I lost a 3 month old puppy to parvo/distemper last year on 4/21 at 4:15am, (rescue from LA shelter). She was healthy for one week, and that was one of the best weeks I have ever had, she was a member of the family, from my GF to all my family and friends, they loved her instantly. The second week she spent at the Vets under 24 hour care. The third week she came back home and I hand fed her in hopes of her recovery. When she started to seizure, I drove her an hour away, curled on my lap alternately seizing and resting, to the nearest 24 hour vet where she was put to sleep. The last thing she ever did in this world was to give me a kiss. Not a minute passes that I don't miss her, but when I close my eyes, I can still feel her. She loved me and I loved her, that is what matters. Not how long she lived, or how she died.

I grieve for your loss, but am happy for the wonderful memories/time you share with your bird. You will never replace her, but you don't need to. Our love is heaven for our animals, they stay with us.

Sorry you lost your bird! It doesn't matter whether cat, dog, bird, or iguana - we grow attached.

The good news, is that pets help us with our health for some reason. I think unconditional love knows no bounds, and they are all waiting for us in heaven, to greet us, and play again.
