Unlike some big Monitor's, the Tegu I had was a very surly creature that seemed to live for nothing more than the opportunity to bite a human hand. |

My leopard gecko "Puff the Magic Gecko" is now living with my friend's son who is taking far better care of him than I could. I don't have any pictures of him though. |

Sure wish I had a picture but it had just come out of hibernation, it's burrow was a few feet away, and was very skittish and fast, so I lost it by the time I returned with the camara. We also have Roadrunners, so we have the hunter/prey interaction all summer.  This is the same folding chair the lizard was on when I took that picture. The roadrunner was after that same fencepost or Bluebellied lizard.  This one is from my computer desk looking out the window with our rescued cat. It was his first sighting of a wild roadrunner. I haven't had any reptiles since my Gopher snake got loose in the back yard and hissed at my Mom who was hanging laundry... My mom wasn't ammused, Henry the snake wasn't either and before I found him, he got run over by someone who mistook him for a rattler. TGIF... | |

And then she [which i had thought was a he] laid about a dozen eggs! then she became VERY aggressive. The eggs didn't make it, she got out of the tank, and that was the end of that pet, as far as my mom was concerned. and they DO LOVE BITING. no wonder they're called alligator lizards |
