My puppy who broke her paw finally got her splint off!

She's doing great, the muscles have atrophied a bit, so she isn't as fast as she wants to be, but otherwise she doesn't seem to be having too much of a problem. She is bouncing between the 3 other dogs and every toy she can find in non-stop play! Right now it is a lot of fun, but hopefully soon she will settle down!

Much thanks to all the WTer's who have sent their best wishes, at first it was really hard not being depressed, or blaming myself for leaving the window open, but you all definitely helped me through it! Now I just have to pay the vet bills.....

Wonderful news.

Have you contacted any of the foundations that help with emergency medical for pets? The first one that comes to mind is Actors and Others, but there are so many more.

If you can get a Pet Press it has two large pages of listings of organizations that help out. the section is called "Animal Help and Agencies" http://www.thepetpress-la.com/
