Rep Power: 64 | Congratulations D! That's an amazing achievement I'm only 20 years old but I struggled with vicodin and valium addiction for over a year when I was in high school. I'm almost two years sober and have never felt better. I've never been to MMI but I just wanted to give you a shout out and a congrats on your continuing sobriety. Keep it up(sobriety!) and keep on keeping on! lol |

Rep Power: 13271 | Re: Sobriety coming up anybody else What a remarkable accomplishment! Many good wishes and congratulations to you. Sobriety is an extremely difficult road to travel and you continue this journey successfully. I gave up alcohol and cocaine twenty years ago on November 30th. I haven't ever missed the alcohol, but I will admit that as middle age has marched on, I have missed the cocaine from time to time. I haven't experienced the craving that you get in many years, but sometimes - especially when I was in a hurry to clean the house or needed to stay up past 9:00 pm - I thought about the boost you get. That being said, giving up putting toxins in my body was perhaps one of the best choices I have ever made - next to marrying my husband. I hoist my cup of coffee to you and drink to your continued good health! |

Rep Power: 65111 | Re: Sobriety coming up anybody else That's fabulous! Congrats on your continued sobriety! My husband is an alcoholic, and it was really hard for me to raise our 2 daughters under the same roof. I always planned to leave after the girls were out on their own, but I'm still here - 33 years later. I just keep telling myself he's gone a lot (business travel), the money's good, and I couldn't afford the food and vet bills for my herd of Great Danes on my own. |

at 10 years old,. wow! after 2 weeks you damn sure got sick until you fed that monkey,. One of my best friends has been doing H since she was 18,. now at 32 she is in deep depression, suicidal, and does methadone everyday and she still has that monkey on her back and she still uses Mr: H from time to time,. and she is also an Alcoholic,. begging for death! After a 8 year friendship I've seen her sick more than I ever care to see someone,. ~ stop lying to yourself and get some help,. | |
