Rep Power: 0 | ...need help. I have a patient who has experiencing some trouble and im curious what you all think. Everything is dwc. Looks real healthy, however he is getting some pests. I cannot identify them so maybe someone else can. They are yellow // white in color. Somewhat hard shelled, and look like minituare snails. I killed a couple and it seems their are attached to the stems leeching nutrients from it.. Can anyone identify these pests, and give some insight on how to deal w. them? I think they could be thrips. There are only a few, maybe 2-3 a plant.. I wasnt sure what to do, so I turned off all the fans, raised th co2 level to 3500+ PPM, gave it 10 min to settle, turned the lights off (the plants are vegging, 24/0) and dropped the temp to 66. in hopes that if the plants lock up and are too cold to distribute nutes, maybe thrips will die? just my wishful thinking? anyways to kill these buggers without pesticides or predators? and if not what would be the most organic pesticide on the market. Thank You. surfah |

| Re: ...need help. whatever the case may be........ you need to get into a hydro store and get some spray or a sulfer burner right away. ANY insects in a grow room is a no go. |

| Re: ...need help. Sulfer isn't for bugs.....it's a fungicide. ASA Services is on it. |

| Re: ...need help. Sure they can. Many bugs can go with out air for days, burning sulfur won't affect many insects. Especially thrips, borers and even mites that aren't in an adult phase. Sulfur isn't an insecticide..it's a fungicide. Unless you smash the bugs with the burner :D |
